Drop Down menu options

We are building y website with dreamweaver and also have had a wagon from another company. I added drop down choices for products that incorporate color and measurement. The problem is they aren’t connected to your cart. I hold the add to carry button. It adds only the 1st option not any of the others if determined. I have used dreamweaver and w3schools to aid me learn to be able to code but I’m still new and would like to pull my curly hair out. How will i get my options to connect to the cart when selected in the drop down

Depends on a variety of things.

ONE. What cart do you think you’re using and what language do you find it written in
ONLY TWO. Are the present options pulled from your DB or hardcoeded on the page
THREE. The named options need to be called in the cart when you submit…

You can find way too a lot of unknowns to even begin making a great educated guess, since you can find so many methods for doing it.

Suggest you posting your code examples of the " determined options ", as well as the cart code that may be suppose to method and display your current selections.

Might give us a perception of what is actually happening.

If you can name the basket, someone here often have first hand knowledge in using the services of it and customizing them.

The cart is ecommerce templates searching cart software. I am using them as well as dreamweaver to develop my site. Every one of my pages are usually html or php. Suggestions the code to get both.
Cart Switch:
< sort method=" post" action=" carry. php" >
< reviews type=" hidden" name=" id" value=" CC1001" >
< reviews type=" hidden" name=" mode" value=" add" >
< reviews type=" image" src=" assets/image/cartbutton. jpg" alt=" Increase Cart" border=" 0" >
< /form>

drop lower options:
< select name=" options" >
< option> Black (SLF9623)< /option>
< option> Reddish (SLF9622)< /option>
< option> Pink (SLF9621)< /option>
< /select>

Here is your link to among the pages I will be using it in.

I have a website that is all set but I detest it and carrying out a redesign.
Thanks to the help.

Through what you put up…

The select options need to be inside the form tags hard to send that selected values to help th cart.

We are new to this specific. Can you show me how it should look

HTML is a tagging sequence,

if you create a type < form>, any items you need to send to just about any processing must always be between the cutting open tag < form> as well as the closing tag < /form>

nearly all " opening " tag will surely have extra elements…

obtainable… < form method=" post" action=" carry. php" > is the opening tag…

any element you employ to send details for processing ought to be between the opening tag and the closing tag involving < /form>

you happen to be sending 2 disguised . values:

< reviews type=" hidden" name=" id" value=" CC1001" />
< reviews type=" hidden" name=" mode" value=" add" />

the select elements that make up the drop along list:

< select name=" options" >
< option> Black (SLF9623)< /option>
< option> Reddish (SLF9622)< /option>
< option> Pink (SLF9621)< /option>
< /select>

your example functions an image for the reason that submit button " accepting the script can be using some control to submmit, however , not sure"

< reviews type=" image" src=" assets/image/cartbutton. jpg" alt=" Increase Cart" border=" 0" >

personally I prefer a button:

< reviews type=" submit" value=" Submit" />

after that the closing label:

< /form>

http: //www. w3schools. com/html/html_forms. asp explains most of this in additional detail.

So basically it should look like this:
< sort method=" post" action=" carry. php" >
< reviews type=" hidden" name=" id" value=" options" >
< select name=" options" >
< option> Black (SLF9623)< /option>
< option> Reddish (SLF9622)< /option>
< option> Pink (SLF9621)< /option>
< /select>
< reviews type=" hidden" name=" mode" value=" add" >
< reviews type=" image" src=" assets/image/cartbutton. jpg" alt=" Increase Cart" border=" 0" >
< /form>

Is that correct

I trying just what exactly I wrote above and it didn’t work. We are so very aggravated.

Let’s just evaluate one item for the present time… the LED flashlight…

1) MY SPOUSE AND I see two < select> pieces… not sure why you’ll find two.

2) You’ve no option prices.

Therefore, try this on the other hand….

PHP:

< tr>
        <
td> < img  src="assets/image/black_led_flashlight_med. jpg"  width="200"  height="200"  alt="LED  Flashlights"  /> < /td<s
