How do I remove the "continue reading" link on my blog?

I’d like to either remove the keep reading link in my personal posts, or help it become so that your link appears after more text can be written, because it is really inserting the url after only regarding 5 sentences, which often makes the cosmetic of my web-site look bad.

Virtually any suggestions

The positioning is www. TheDishmaster. com

The issue is merely on the webpage because once you click an article there’s no continue reading website link anymore.

Inside your file called design. css ( during about line 264), increase the part within red below. That will make the website invisible.

. post-entry course. more-link
screen: block;
border: 10px 0;
presence: hidden;

This is a WordPress issue… inside your admin panel, there is a setting with regard to displaying all
of a post, or partial post. Look beneath " Settings", then click on " Reading"…

For each article in a new feed, show
(o) full text
(o) summary

Choose " full text" the airwaves button.

.

That doesn’t help me. Easily make that website invisible, the post continues to be cut off but now there’s no way of seeing others of it, b/c the continue reading link is removed. I checked the particular admin panel and it’s set for the full text rather than just the summary. It’s actually a coding issue, as well as I can’t determine it out.

I wonder if it’s portion of the theme itself.
From the theme directory (vespers), you can find template scripts.

The main one called " listing. php", or " web page. php"… show all of us the listing
for both of the people PHP scripts:
wp-content/themes/vespers/index. php
wp-content/themes/vespers/page. php

.

ZERO SUCH LUCK

OK – I thought you may wanted to remove the link.

You happen to be using the Expression Press Theme labeled Vesper.
It’ll have a file referred to as functions. php
In this file, at related to line 23, you’ll find this code:

You need to change the availablility of words (120) to something that will fit the space you could have for the excerpt.

If not, you could possibly get into the admin backend and remove all of the excerpts, then set that reading settings that will Full text as an alternative to summary, which would in that case by default post the whole length of this article.

I’m unclear why certain posts reflect the particular excerpt, and others cut the words off too first. If you take a look at my home internet page, the heather morris article is block super short, as well as the dave Grohl post is perfect. I wonder if it has something to do with the html code for any image, because I used Picapp to the Heather Morris article and then for the Audrina write-up, but not for that Dave Grohl document. Either way, changing the idea of length doesn’t work.

Well this is really frustrating me – so MY SPOUSE AND I downloaded the theme and installed it on one among my test sites.

MY SPOUSE AND I set the reading to full text message, and made about three test posts.
MY SPOUSE AND I added an graphic to each article, (uploaded all the images over the native uploader) positioned them into the top left in the post and set all those meals to 256 A 256. Then I stuck some text and posted.

I didn’t like the Continue reading for the left where itt defaulted in order to, so I improved the style. css on line 484 to read like that:

. post-entry course. more-link
screen: block;
border: 10px 0 0 450px;

I don’t recognize if that’s what you long for, but you can go examine it here.

Is that this close to what you’re trying to do.
