Layout/Design Help
I’m struggling to design a site while using following requirements: 1)colors — bold blue and red 2)Logo — see upper right of attached photograph. I’ve gone through 6 versions as well as the client likes this town best. I think it really is awful but have yet to get a better solution. Any kind of suggestions With thanks! You could take north america flag to illustrate, keep the vast majority neutral white (backgroud etc) after that use red and blue to choose key text based information. Don’t use that blue or reddish for blocking released background or things will quickly feel too heavey. Require the FedEx style, okay so it’s purple & yellow now or such, but you may put something together in a similar fashion. This logo, umm, that wouldn’t be property by any chance Why are they always passionate with promoting a strong image of vanity Thanks for your suggestions. Yes – it can be real estate. I just can’t figure a good way to incorporate that brand. I need to be able to keep some " serious estate" looking graphics (houses in addition to such) – plus the two of them striking a position just isn’t working … Continue reading

General ? from newbie
A bit brief background first— I’m considering a career change from the world of architecture to the world of website design. I’ve done loads of graphics work ahead of, so I’ve became the visual finish down. I’ve also got a little bit experience w/ web page design — I’ve made some basic HTML sites before and one using ImageReady instruction online my school times. And so my question is— With the amount of scripting languages and also what not out there, how do you decide which one to dive into CSS appears promising… I like the idea of seperating style & content material (less code, sooner loading pages, higher search results rankings). Would I small number that w/ XHTML Or can i go with CODE & JavaScript Or what about a server-side script such as PHP Or can i just go which includes a WYSIWYG editor, for instance Dreamweaver Does Dreamweaver output decent / wash code Thanks for every and all assistance! OK, here is a quick crash lessons into what each and every ‘language’ does: XHTML and HTML: They handle content. For case, they define tables, paragraphs and headings. XHTML is really a redefinition of HTML as well as … Continue reading

‘Friendly ‘URLs In Private Areas?
Is the whole point of experiencing ‘friendly’ URLs (i. electronic tekponline. com/archives/2005/09/21 as an alternative to tekponline. com/arcives/y=2005& m=09& d=21) them to appear nicer for the eye, easier to understand and can always be read better by search engines If that’s the case, is it necessary to have most of these URLs in current administration sections, i. electronic. tekponline. com/admin/new/journal as an alternative to tekponline. com/admin/page=new& type=journalentry If nobody will probably see the sections but me, and I hope nobody will probably search for the item, then what’s that point in owning these URLs There’s no point. It’s only to make public facing pages easier to locate for humans and engines like google alike. Thanks – just wanted to clear it upwards.

Flash MX Newbie.
Hi all, I could’nt get a forum specifically targeted for newbies so I thought this will be the best place to place. The provider I work for have recently placed me responsible of the website that has been developed in Flash by the contractor. Already we call for changes and although I have some website practical knowledge, Flash is proving for being somewhat difficult. For example you page has an index of several staff members, and I will have to add a brand-new member. I have got opened the. fla file and clicked for the ‘cell’ on the particular timeline that displays the all the list staff. I tried to copy a final text but croping and editing it actually edited the actual source. I have examined the properties in this control and it is a button, but once i add another button into the scene it appearance completly different (more as being a button rather and then text) I’m guessing that this ‘button’ is actually text considering the characteristics of the button. I have clicked the particular edit symbols button for the right of your scene 1 bar but it lists both Name1_txt along with name_btn. I’m obtaining this … Continue reading

html help
I’d prefer to center my webpage so that it shows up during the screen besides the lefthand side. What html tags must use and where will i put them Without a link to see your web blog, hard to inform, but… Should you be using tables: < desk align=" center" > . . . < /table> Yet, it’s best to work with CSS anyhow. Seek out hundreds of CSS model sheet examples in addition to tutorials. http: //www. search engine. com/searchq=css centering& btnG=Search.
