Nicest Page Layout

What are the cleanest, easiest to help read layout (Font colour, Bg color, and anything that concerns that) All Love it if more want is what you would imagine the best looking layout would be. Thanks alot! 10pt Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif #000000 Natural on #FFFFFF bg Font Experience: 10pt Verdana, Tahoma, Arial Font Color: #000000 Font Properties: Normal Text : normal, headers — bold, links – underlined System BG: #FFFFFF WE agree. When you define your font size help it become relative so that it can be resized according towards visitors preference. WE use font-size: x-small to get my main wording and font-size: larger for my headings. 12 point is formally easiest to study… 10pt and persons over 50 should squint. But not surprisingly all of my page layouts are the ideal… duh! Not true… 12 pt. arial is technically harder to read since the font becomes bubbly as well as less discernable. ELEVEN pt. serif (times, or anything else. ) is the simplest to read on the net, but serif fonts usually are impossible to learn at 72 dpi. At 800 x 600 on the 17" monitor, 10pt arial is comparable to the size of text in a magazine. … Continue reading

Howdy, We have a problem: You can a black fram all around my website (http: //www. glymes. com) to the screen. It is more striking when I print a hardcopy with the site. How am i allowed to remove this black frame Also, when I print a hardcopy, half of the tables are not printed because they don’t fit on the particular paper. How am i allowed to fix that Thanks earlier, oliver Try taking that border attributes right out the body section of your respective CSS: Code: body font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-weight: 500; color=redborder-color: #000000; border-style: solid; /color color: #002868; background-color: #faffff; border: 0px; padding: 0px; .

Back to the drawingboard…

Fine, after seeing CSSZenGarden, We are humbled, and once reading Glyak’s CSS part one Tutorial, I decided to start screwing around which has a simple css layout. I immediately make a roadblock — Suprise! – coping with i. e. MY SPOUSE AND I created three instructional classes – a header, major, and menu. I positioned them according to the math with Glyak’s awesome short training, and tada! achievements in Firefox. Inside i. e., not so much. Seems to do using the padding, as when i remove it, Firefox as well as i. e. show similar thing. here’s several linkage. Extra padding on… Code: . head position: absolute; leading: 15px; left: 15px; width: 700px; height: 100px; background-color: #000000; extra padding: 5px; color: #FFEEDD . selection position: absolute; leading: 125px; left: 15px; width: 200px; height: 700px; background-color: #123456; extra padding: 5px; . main location: absolute; top: 125px; left: 225px; width: 490; levels: 565; padding: 5px; background-color: #556677; Padding away… Code: . head position: absolute; leading: 15px; left: 15px; width: 700px; height: 100px; background-color: #000000; /*padding: 5px; */ colouring: #FFEEDD . menu location: absolute; top: 125px; left: 15px; width: 200px; levels: 700px; background-color: #123456; /*padding: 5px; */ . major position: absolute; leading: 125px; … Continue reading

Site layout

I’d like to see my site trend like this. Would it be best to use css or kitchen tables. If somone might give me some help it will likely be very much appreciated. Header Bar with text aligned remaining and right List Content Bar with text aligned remaining and right Footer With thanks. Anything is usually made with CSS, but it’s as long as you. If you are not very familiar about it you could tumble back on tables, or you would use it as a new learning experience. I think many people would say it really is " best" to use CSS, though. And that’s what I’ll claim. You provide a hybrid system (tables and CSS) or a CSS system (CSS only). There are plenty of sites out there that can provide you with a head start on your CSS layout internet. glish. com internet. bluerobot. com internet. thenoodleincident. com/tutorials/box_lesson/boxes. html here is yet another cool site you could check out.. it actually permits you to generate CSS program code. http: //www. csscreator. com/version2/pagelayout. php I’ve used the csscreator website and yes it worked fine once i generated the css but now concerning added content to it it is … Continue reading

Static Background Pic

Working with a problem figuring out to have a background pic that does not move. I have seen them on myspace but never have been able to figure out how to do it by myself… Any Advice maybe someone is known for a script that i could use Employing dreamweaver 8 Yes, you can make a background image fixed using CSS. There’s an example of this at http: //www. w3schools. com/css/tryit. aspfilename=trycss_background-attachment . Only write " background-attachment: fixed" in the CSS for ones " body" aspect. That should work. ok here is the code for the main page, undecided what i’m doing wrong HTML: <!
