We (and I reckon I’m speaking intended for myself), don’t similar to WYSIWYG editors,
all around health add tons with extra junk towards the HTML.
Grab yourself your own webhosting account along with your own domain name,
acquire FileZilla (for FTP file transfers) along with start playing all-around with
no cost CSS templates. Learn by finding what others did, and use Google
for assistance with XHTML, CSS, etc.
And ask us… for help with questions you might have.

I’m afraid I try a wysiwyg editor (Expression) because I find it speeds up the coding method – also after i was new to web development it helped me squeeze site together. I also apply Fireworks for graphics although I think Photoshop is approach better.
Once you’ve got a basic website ready to go try learning CSS: http: //www. w3schools. com/Css/default. asp
Using good design, you can receive some nice shopping websites with just simply html and css abilities. If you wish something jazzier (eg rotating images) there are many free scripts out there you should utilize.
All the best ..
