Huge Content Site to Create – Need Advice!

I am currently creating any 75 page website that may be static with nothing much else apart from text, a very few pictures here as well as there and advertisements.

I am not a online developer or designer and can be handing over all this review for them to make this.

Even though designing my internet site, is it better to present the MS Concept written content into a designer in a more finished format (like centered text, bold word where needed, tables I’ll create for prices through Word, links shown) or is it better to just provide them with all the content that’s not " as" organized

Many thanks!! Just need a few direction!

I prefer receving formatted word. But if you’re employing a professional they usually have recommendations for tweaking it, I would take it into consideration also. But overall certainly, supplying what you want to be bolded, linked, showing table data etc is helpful.

ok thanks — that helps considerably!

So far as table data goes basically I have listings such because:

Organization Name
Telephone:
E mail:
For example. etc

We have put these within an MS Word table – a few pointer leave them in that , format (didn’t know if they easily get moved to HTML) or a few pointer just leave on one page showing the designer your example of how I want it

Many thanks again!

Get away from it as is definitely. If your designer is a great one, he’ll use your document to be a reference and housecleaning or recode such thinggs as tables etc. in to standards compliant value.

Just directly sawing and pasting Word content produces messy site value.

But certainly try to portion your larger document in to the appropriate sections/sub-sections of the site and recognise them (About, Speak to etc. ).

Good! Thanks for this advice….

Unless your paying an awesome designer, he are going to be lazy and minimize and paste from Word which is really really awful.

Maybe you can register a no cost blog on Blogger. com and make the many pages as posts with the web designer.

Cutting and pasting from here would be much easier, and should save the designer time and conserve money. It would also be sure to didn’t get any kind of weird WORD code on your website.

Thanks for any feedback. Being unfamiliar having writing content within a blog, can you create table like you are able to in MS Term (almost 1/2 involving my pages will contain these). Or would I even would like to create them and also instead, have the designer utilize text to generate them

Also, do you want a host and therefore do this

Many thanks.
