Our company has been tasked with building a website for a consulting firm. Most of the site is quite basic, but the agency has sections they would like youngster should be update themselves that will pertain to specific clients of theirs.
They have got several different types of clients (i. e. healthcare, manufacturing, travel related, etc) and in these things categories they get several clients. When they talk to a client they build goals and they’d like youngster should be post updates because the clients meet (or do not meet) these objectives. They’d also prefer to upload photo galleries and videos, as well as be able to let the consumers comment and discuss things on their site.
To my advice this section sounds like a blog, but I’d like to make is therefore the company only should log into another thing to make posts and updates for every client and plainly use something similar to WordPress, it will only let you make posts with a single page. And also, I don’t know how hard it could be to embed a blog on the site.
Please i want to know what you’d probably suggest. The clients require as basic an activity as possible to generate their updates.
Sounds to my advice like Drupal or perhaps Joomla…
The point is, this is going becoming a big project.
Relating to " client sections", " individual management", " admin control",
" document uploads", and RTF (Rich Wording Format) editing… there’s no such thing
since " pretty basic". This can involve PHP, MySQL, format control, and a new lot
of customizing (if you utilize Drupal or Joomla).
I have no idea what else to express other than this advice — subcontract some
excellent programmers, if PHP and MySQL are not your web design company’s
strong point. This will carry a top price tag far too.
.
Relating to been using Business Catalyst for a few of my brand new clients.
It has an array of options and can grow using the business.
Its expensive…..
my spouse and i use blogger. com intended for my co. site but since its not necessary all that contains it: use php.
ONE. create a means for them to generate a client folder
ONLY TWO. create an include form for . txt only
THREE. set your script for you to parse \n into < /p> < br> < p> previous to saving
SEVERAL. use a while cycle to read each and every file into a good array
A FEW. use a foreach cycle for managing each and every file.
6. inside the foreach loop, use file_get_contents() and echo between a pair of < p> reveal < /p> tags.
