Simple software for optimizing graphics?

Greetings all – Now i’m a newbie the following. I’ve recently ingested over webmaster duties for a non-profit group plus the website has Many photos. I have to shrink the files hence the site won’t take as long to load. I have access to Fireworks and own used this program before to optimize graphics but is there another (free! ) program that i could download to use for this Fireworks seems like such overkill to the simple work that will I’m doing. Thanks to your help!

Should you already have FW then why search for something else Especially when you can batch change (optimize, among other tasks) a number of photos and export all of them at once! Might appear to be a no-brainer.

To answer your question I do believe Picasa is free and can do simple tasks. But why!!!

Only because Now i am working off my laptop today and I hate to possess to load that big computer software on my notebook if I style haha! But it seems like maybe that will be the best thing to me to do. I’ll check out Picasa and see how it functions. Thanks!

It’s just that Fireworks includes really nice compression, like Photoshop does, and it has the other capabilities, and was created for web imaging as well as graphics. What’s another program on a person’s laptop!

fireworks is diffinately the better strategy to use in terms of eas to apply and efficiency just about any program that does similar task is often just as massive, your smaller programs will all you have to longer to complete the larger tasks and if you ask me i might much prefer to still have a job done and keep it to export without treatment than have for you to sit there ind move each file individualy

Fireworks will do all you need it to do in possibly the least timeframe and with a great smooth compression.

Also considering you have already used the offer before it’ll be much more helpful than learning a different one.

My personal advice… stick that will Fireworks!

Kind regards Aliesha

Relating to read and noticed that Photoshop Lightroom is awesome for using the services of a ALLOT connected with photo’s.

No cost, and it’s similar to Photoshop.

Have you tried photoshop. com Its free to apply

On the other hand, you can acquire a 30 day trial of Photoshop which could be ok assuming it’s a one-time matter.

Photoshop is admittedly easy to boost graphics in, it is possible to create a batch file to own and optimize any files while you relax and enjoy a drink.
