Fulfilled this guy who seem to owns dealerships for just two big Motorcycle as well as Scooter manufacturers — he wanted me for making a website pertaining to him. Here’s this scene:
ONE PARTICULAR. He’s a *local* vendor in two cities
A COUPLE OF. Customers are possibly not websavvy – they will see his classified ads in newspapers and also respond – aren’t the sort who would get on to the net, and then look up scooters etc, and then come to her site to purchase etc..
SEVERAL. Doesn’t need any eCom solution – he handles his Manufacturers thro S/W that will they’ve provided – doesn’t require his own bit of Supply Chain e-enabled.
Website, I need that you tell me:

A COUPLE OF. If we do ensure it is, what sort of site should the idea be What is definitely the features on this One idea — a portfolio of most models he presents, with on-the-fly generation in the model’s picture along with price details with whatever mix of accessories the customer chooses…

… im thinking should the guy wants to fund php and mysql hosting you then could create a totally php site, employing sumthin like dreamweaver, and still have the products and also descriptions and stuff stored from the database, and one could have a web interface that this guy could use to change stuff around the products…
i don’t want technical cheap make the web page – more like the business utility on the site, and what functionalities would be good on this, considering the predicament…

Current customers is probably not websavy but lets him to publicise beyond his current marketing base (newspapers etc).
Maybe generate orders from other parts of India.
If ppl have some prospect of the models accents etc available, each sales call shall be shortened and guided toward what the Client wants to see.
Some clients won’t have considered purchasing accessories due to lack of knowledge about them.
Just might work out a deal breaker with some providers whereby he sells from a sample and the very product is shipped with the manufacturer direct to the client.
Can certainly extend his supplement range, by offering net orders of accesories, clothing or anything else.
Website you might have described sounds wonderful, ask D she worked for some time in Car product sales so probably incorporates a heapm of knowledge using this sort of thing………………..
