No idea where to ask – what’s the difference? (FTP clients)

Sorry I had no idea where to ask this- I need to get hold of the FTP client, problem is i have no idea of much about these. I tried CuteFTP property sporadically (it seemed to perform the job but i don’t use any innovative features) but my own trial has be depleted.
