Thoughts on New Transio Logo?
We’ve been redesigning our web-site (again) and decided to change up the logo, too, to better magnify what our company is concerning. This is actually the first draft belonging to the like ten billionth concept we created. We really like the concept, yet obviously the image needs some tweakage. Wanted to get feedback along with ideas for restoring it. Apple company GUI quote eyeport, interesting Perhaps attach the old one in the process for a side by side comparison I love it. You don’t have a link to the site in the signature. Is this it http: //www. transio. com/home If that’s the case. Will the new logo be part of a new style and design I don’t view it fitting because it currently is. That aside yeah I love it. I feel something more might be added to the particular graphic. Not sure precisely what. Just ‘something’. I do believe the quote eye-port is too massive. Maybe add a little bit color to the text underneath transio. A little bit too grey with luck. I including the new logo way too, but a small extra color is definitely nice. Anyway, how do you make things like that I can’t … Continue reading

WordPress Customizing
I’m again with more concerns.. I’ve seen some web sites where its solely designed using hubpages. I’d like to learn to do that too, editing css within wordpress and also have that as my site and still have it all designed to my preference. I guess wordpress incorporates a css editor where you pay to save lots of the changes but will there be a way all-around that Also, an you explain where I might edit and how it ties in to the hosting company I’d like to try in which out but unsure on the way to begin that. With thanks!! Wordpress has the CSS editor which you must pay for Will you be having a wordpress blog hosted or have you been running it by yourself server If its by yourself server there usually are no fees. In order to edit a structure navigate to wp-content/themes/< motif name> /style. css Open up it up, help to make your changes, publish it. Hit F5 as well as your changes will be made. Thanks for taking the time to answer that for me Jason. That’s a good start. When you mentioned to save lots of it and subsequently upload it, … Continue reading

CGI or PHP
didn’t know wherever to post the idea sorry if its inside the wrong forums. I want to know which you assume is more used currently. Cause: I am in a CGI class and the other day the teacher enquired me if most people had any requests and I asked why i was using an outdated language as an alternative to PHP. He explained that CGI appeared to be old but wasn’t outdated understanding that 70% of websites that try a server/client scripting dialect (CGI, PHP, ASP) work with CGI. He explained that since our statement was away from line i was mandated to write a YOU page essay showing or disproving the statement i had made in their class. So help would be appreciated. if you desire to explain your reasons that will help also. I decided to begin this poll because possible not find the knowledge i needed over the internet. All the pages relating to come across is a heated debate which is better now which is often used more. That is not what i will be looking for so if that may be kept out of this poll i would appreciate it. Many thanks, Fizban I used … Continue reading

corporate design
Hi. I’m pretty innovative at web designing and I’ve been assigned to style the UI with regard to our intranet. In a way, I don’t realize how to go about this. The page is probably full of sorts, that’s basically it. Anybody have any strategies on how i should design it Here’s a sample associated with what I created. (I know it sucks, that’s why I’m trying for help) Target what the page can do… It looks for instance you have some kind of entry system When you find yourself using PHP and a database for holding and processing the info from your forms I might look at implementing AJAX (PHP and Javascripting) to create the type experience smooth and effortless. Even even though you’re simply just doing the UI aspect, you’ll need to your workplace directly with the actual person(s) which are doing the scripting (the back again end part). It’s the " intranet", internal for your business, so the structure needs to be uncomplicated to read, easy to operate, but the actual operation in the forms is what is important for you. hey! Thanks for your reply. Well, yeah such as that. We’re employing ASP. I’m actually coordinating … Continue reading

Recipies. Anyone do them right?
I’m in search of a site which will let me search across numerous recipes by ingredients, pick recipes and be able to print out the many recipes and a grocery list. Ideally, it would lookup other website’s directories of recipes so that you can harvest more details. Possibly there is any website or perhaps software (mac) in which does this there should be a website which includes recipe collections. maybe you have searched google oh theres tons of places with recipies. I haven’t found any who have a large enough database i always feel like I possibly could really sift via and be astonished, certainly nothing I’ve found that spiders other places as well as organizes a grocery list. All I could think of can be subscribing to a web based database (either free or to get a fee). Such as this: http: //www. cook-books. com/ You’ll find millions of formula sites, so scanning these folks would be impossible. Yet another thought… Buy a DVD with millions of recipes and place the data alone server. Because of this, you could help to increase it (and remove any) once you want. You should be in manipulate of it, also , you … Continue reading
