Tim Berners-Lee on Web 2.0: "nobody even knows what it means"

Harry Berners-Lee on Web 2. 0: " nobody even knows just what it means" The short story is web 2. 0 advocates clarify it as net 1. 0 has been about connecting personal computers, web 2. 0 is approximately connecting people. And Berners-Lee insists world wide web 1. 0 has been also about attaching people, and web 2. 0 doesn’t genuinely mean anything. In all honesty, there are certain ideas which have a great potential that they are misunderstood or misapplied. And Web 2. 0 is type idea. To get programmers, Web A COUPLE OF. 0 is rule – specifically mashups. Any graphic artist can tell that Web 2. 0 look, and a good number of people mistake the gradients for the term. It certainly seems wherever your personal comfort zone is usually, there is Web 2 . 0. 0 Just what exactly haven’t we covered The " people" staying connected. If Web 2. 0 is with regards to people, try talking to and about men and women. User tests in addition to interaction design while integral to website development. Gradient rollover intermediate

Heya folks. I’m seeking to create a nav bar influenced by gradients. Now, the gradient goes one of many ways usually, and the other on hover. But I’m not sure how to handle it to indicate the particular current’ section. Any ideas If you’d like imagery, I can attempt to put some in place. Maybe select a darker version belonging to the regular gradient As well as, change the font colour How about just a plain color… no gradient I’ve noticed this done before (don’t ask me where… I don’t remember) along with I remember thinking so it was a nice contrasting tool for doing it. karinne — I’ve tried that, but I don’t like it much. Maybe I’m not using the right color, though — I used one of the two extremes. I’ll see what goes on if I use maybe one of the colors from in the gradient. I’ll try that darker version on the gradient, -chris-, that was not a bad thought. Changing the font colour isn’t enough, however, in my impression. How about like this, or this, using a color not while in the gradient, but somewhere else in the web site Ok, can this look: … Continue reading

When people obtain blank " 404" page and find themselves without any links or navigation var to support them make contact with your site it’s obvious which they’ll leave. So, basicaly what I did to design a page form of similar to my personal site’s site map one which contains all in the site’s information such as inbound links navigation var etc .. Why because whether or not your site is perfectly design and works just fine you can get a error page evntually; so I wanted to make sure that when people receive the error page they obtain page like the one I described earlier mentioned. Error pages are the consequence of misspelled url’s, in addition to links, there might be some other arguments, I am niot positive. So make sure you type a brief message like this: " We live sorry. Need help with forms!

Ok I will be a beginner on making websites and I am wondering how I’d make someone have to fill out a field (in this case it is just a checkbox to be in accordance the terms and conditions) Here is what I get right now Without thinking about your attachment, there are a few ways. To begin with, it is advisable to let the user know which areas are mandatory. This is largely done by providing that field a asterix and somewhere close to the form state that an asterix(*) means that is the required field. To actually ensure they don’t miss a field, you would assign in which form element into a php variable, toned it, and and then check it’s duration. The reason behind trimming, is than a smart user could simply fill ones field with spots, so technically the variable may very well be equal to… PHP: $required  =  $_POST’required_field’;   //  could  be  equal  to  ”          ” So, make it happen instead PHP: $required  =  $_POST’required_field’; $required  =  trim($required); Then use strlen to check the length. In the event zero, the field is empty. Also, similar can often be done in … Continue reading
