How much is fair to charge for this site?

I’m creating a faily simple website for your start-up law company (a friend regarding mine who’s an intern there encouraged me), but I have no clue how much an internet site . like that expenses. I’ve made internet sites before, but not for the money. I gotta name the guy later this morning to negotiate the retail price, but I don’t even know very well what number to start from. And here is their old site: http: //www. fkmiplaw. com/ Here’s the brand new one I’m working away at: http: //www. pegasus. rutgers. edu/alexkr/website2/index. html It’s made with tables now (faster to me to design), but I’ll redo it with CSS. Oh and it is just a New York company. many thanks The different site looks outstanding, for reference. Also, designing first with tables and then with CSS may be about as inefficient since it gets. But this aside You will discover about twenty 1 , 000 different threads lying around about how much to ask for. Do a search and you’ll find they all Thanks Accurate. I did that will because I wasn’t very informed about CSS once. It was faster to me to just perform the table system … Continue reading

Fine, I’d like to feature something else that will my question.. Do most website development freelancers charge for items/products as well as by the hours I saw a good invoice online that had these set-up: PRODUCT NAME: Labor ACCOUNT: On-site FEE: $40. 00 NUMBER: 3 SUM: $120. 00 This invoice were designed for web design, but when WHEN I saw this WE easily replaced PIECE NAME with " Hyperlink", " Selection button", and " Mail address", because enough time it takes to generate an extra hyperlink to get a website is not worth a couple of hours. However, scanning pictures, designing a new logo to get updated to that website, creating a different flash movie for the homepage, installing a music player, and installing some sort of photo gallery tend to be worth several hours because the large amount regarding work involved to make, test, and upload the task to the internet site. Therefore, I would prefer to know if you’ll find other website products … Continue reading

How image libraries work

Hi there! Could someone please explain how image libraries work It’s my opinion the images are connected to a database, a free of charge search on that database is finished via a search form which pulls the images up. Is this best done with Entry or MYSQL I’d like to create something fairly simple however am struggling a little with exactly how it really is done. Thanks Brian SOME SORT OF. My organization is not sure just what exactly you mean by means of image library. However how i describe it looks like you mean which the image filenames are stored within a database table. And these are then extracted and utilized to generate < img> rule. What you will have to do is 1: create a database along with a table. That table really should have a field for that image filename, plus an id area. Also maybe a field for 2 row was included, of type timestamp. In which case you would need a technology for example PHP or ASP in order to extract the values from your database table, and output the end result. Thanks for the! Sorry for your confusion – I am talking about an … Continue reading

Is your site VAC?

This can be more of quite a job than a plug. I’m challenging everyone to become members from the VAC community. VAC represents Valid, Accessible and also Compatible, three necessary elements of sites, a fact you inevitably concur with. Right this moment websites online can be a mess of labeling, with X/HTML compliant, good CSS 1/2/3, WAI compatible, etc… some aren’t compliant whatsoever. What we’re suggesting would be to get use one label instead to identify VAC sites, or sites that demonstrate that their particular owners have taken the time to create plus maintain valid, compliant, and most importantly, accessible web pages. There’s an urgent need for VAC sites, and that is why we’re demanding you today to be part of it. Accessibility can simply be verified by hand, and we’re offering that as being a service within our desire to discover the new era of websites to become as VAC as possible. Thank you for your time frame, and all one of the best. world wide web. isitvac. com One label to rule all of these books.
