Needing advice on design fees?
I am designing two sites for a friend, which started an online business 6 months ago and it also has taken out of beyond her anticipations. I am about to see her this kind of weekend and she’s already approved my own design layout intended for her sites. My question is, I am going to discuss the expenses with her just before I start art so that there’s no miscommunication between individuals. Each site will include things like approximately 12+ pages and We were thinking of loading her $500 each one. What do you would imagine and/or charge for your services I typically charge more to get a company that My organization is not so acquainted with, but a family friend is a different story. Many thanks $500 for each page is really hefty.. especially considering she is a family companion. I’m assuming you’re dealing with $500 for each one site, which I do believe is fair. $1000 for 24+ pages is quite reasonable, IMO. If you’re talking about $500 the page, I hope they’re created from gold. Depends on what kind of money she’s making and simply how much she’ll be expecting for making from the web page. Also … Continue reading

Image Co-ordinates
Alright, I am attempting to add some ‘spot-the-ball’ competitive events to my web page (not online yet) along with need some aid (please). I need kid upload any image right into a ‘co-ordinate grid’ (of variable size dependant upon image). Users can then click on the uploaded image and perhaps they are given a 6-figure grid research (using the pixels on the image) of wherever they think the ball is, they then utilize these co-ordinates to enter other sellers. Does anyone know of any simple way to accomplish this We’ve seen similar programs on other websites which use a good ASP script connected with some description but We’ve been unable to discover anything suitable to the job! Your current help is a lot appreciated, thank you RocketMan.

Verisign: Monthly fee for a website?
Really does anyone know the reason why Verisign (formerly understand as Network solutions) costs a monthly fee of something like $45. 99 after his or her designers build yuor web blog That sounds just like a rip-off to my family but perhaps they’re just providing services i don’t understand in which justify the high monthly fee. I liked an online site I came across, saw that it was before done by Verisign hence I thought I might check them released. So does anyone determine what services they offer after and in addition to building the site and submitting it to find engines $45. 99 sounds a little steep for just simply hosting. Is it possible send us a connection to verisign’s site where the thing is that this ALTER: I think this is what you’re talking with regards to. If so, it’s only a completely overpriced arrangement. It looks including they’re basically trying to recoup some of the design fee through the monthly fee, general health " waive" that $250 setup charge. You’re excellent. That is the exact page I was preaching about. Thanks. I’ll stear far away from them. POST never liked his or her domain prices anyhow. Sorry, … Continue reading

Reselling templates.
We have noticed that for instance several sites, which includes Supreme Templates, XYZ Templates, TemplatePark, etc. are all selling a similar templates. I understand that they are allowed to resell. But how is a original designer/owner of those templates. There are countless companies selling similar web templates and I got a bit hesitant to get one. POST admit, they look nice and much lower price than Relating to paid a webdesigner. Should I purchase probably their templates or beware of any reason I should steer clear of them Only reason it is best to stay away is if you want something unique, or your buyer is expecting something unique and might be upset if (s)he discovers that you made use of a template. The key reason why you see similar templates all over is because the designers who seem to create them place them on any template site they could to maximize their own income potential. The template sites you see generally pay released to designers a percentage of each one template purchased. I used to be just told every one those sites, come in the affiliate application with Template List (the provider). =/ But I can’t resist because of … Continue reading

Help me please!!!!
I’d prefer to make this site look additional professional, but I don’t know how to start. I am attempting to make a quality banner but We are not sure just the thing I have to do, to pull that off. Anyone on this web site willing to provide me a go through maybe I am hunting for some major help. Please anyone using some time to utilize me let mw learn. Jason email me when you are willing: d0ct0rdethbrethhotmail. com You’re asking quite a vague question: how to do your site appearance more professional. I’d recommend you discover ways to use photoshop genuinely well, and visit other sites you want for inspiration (but to be able to rip them off). A good starting point is www. good-tutorials. com. They have lots more tutorials on how to do effects and layouts using PS. Additionally, search around WDF intended for other tutorials, like tuts written by simply WDF members. searchwdfTutorials/searchwdf If you wish to learn, hit the short training books (if you will have the time).. however if it urgent, seeks a webdesigner. We would also look at CMS plus a weblog.

I am not that fantastic at graphic style and design, but I’m good with Template building. I was woundering the following… If I created twelve or so templates in FrontPage, would it be advisable if I created how do i show them out of, and possible sell them in the near future I what happens I’m really asking is this… Is FrontPage an excellent enough program to begin this in, or regarded as a use Dreamweaver or perhaps something else Templates generally require graphics, and neither Frontpage or perhaps Dreamweaver are ideal for designing templates. Photoshop is typically the most popular program used pertaining to designing templates. I’m curious to check out some of your templates in case you say you’re certainly not great at graphic design, but for you to design alot involving templates. IMO, designing templates depends upon graphic design. Well After all I’m not proficient at designing logos, banners, for example for sites… only the basic structure layouts.
Ecommerce Site
Our cousin needs a strong Ecommerce site to sell his company t-shirts. I understand how to design sites, I have never developed an Ecommerce web page before. I’m aware i need to somehow develop a ‘shopping cart’ or something selling the shirts, but how to go about doing that may be there a healthier way He can’t have the funds for much, but he will pay for something if its worth it… Make sure you help! Either try and install/customize oscommerce or perhaps spend few bucks and hire an installer for just a quick job. Wouldn’t cost a lot for someone to run and customize osCommerce. It is a great shopping wagon with almost everything you will require. Is it possible to do to create the basic site, after which it just have a connect to the t-shirts place, where it will probably redirect to a further site created by a ecommerce business I don’t see any kind of problem with that. Here’s some e-Commerce Solutions it’s your decision to look into: http: //www. oscommerce. com/ http: //www. storefront. net/ http: //www. mals-e. com/ http: //www. smartstore. com/ http: //www. webgenie. com/ http: //www. comersus. com/ We’ve no experience with … Continue reading
