Im using DW MX and Concerning a image I edited with all the " map edit" kind feature, then i approved a layer and put it over the desired part, but i cant learn how to have the wording scrollable, and clear to determine the picture beneath it. I just dont know the direction to go. Can someone support me out : inactive:
yo MC! concerning done this. concerning used two diverse methods. first is an iframe:
in order the code i can send it back rather then junk e-mail the thread having code.
the other can be a dhtml scroller you will find at podlob
Awesome Ill check that out and determine if I can determine anything. If not Unwell hit you hit for the code. Thanx Elvis!
i make use of this free javascript scroller plus it works great: http: //www. softcomplex. com/products/tigra_scroller/
it’s pretty basic to incorporate into HTML when you read the directions
thanks david. i simply downloaded it. i favor how it pauses at each picture plus it works fine with safari. thanks for that link. did you look at the one on podlob. com
Avoid using iframes!!!
With CSS, you can fixed an attribute to scroll if your content excedes the size and style of the div.
Concerning been given a new completed design and am putting that together in Dreamweaver.
The basic design may be a rectangle within any rectangle.
The inner rectangular shape contains the layouts and content as well as outer is this background color.
Inside the inner rectangle, the navigation has expired an image : the image may be the background for this navigation only.
The navigation may be a vertical rectangle about the left.
This problem is, I will be not sure how to handle adding content.
Scrolling content is likely to be an option, but I would like others, because
I are deprived of final say.
Concerning tried blending the underside of the navigation image into your background color, and also fading the image to white at the end (white is the background of the inner rectangle).
I will be not satisfied with either these.
thanQ before hand!
Hi Ptoot, I honestly think it is best to have started your individual thread, but every ways, since your current question is these, I will present you with my opinion…
I’d first separate the actual nav into its own rectangle. This way, you can transform the content without moving the nav while in the layout.
I’d attempt to put the background within the OUTER rectangle. Even if it’s an image having a border, you can also have the inner circle considering the no background.
Allow me to share the advantages: dealing with one background enables you to control the fades in your graphics editor AND causes it to be so as that content changes, the actual background needn’t improve, scroll or move in any way.
