Help in Weather and currency
Without doubt Guys! I’m building an internet site . and I really need to put a weather banner along with a currency exchange amount. I searched the web but i wouldn’t find anything helpful. I would as a script that will retrieve data from a weather site and also the same on your currency, I don’t need a banner that has been created for me personally. Thank you. See this particular example for conditions: http: //www. catpin. com/weather You can customize it to your own use and complete whatever you need with the CSS system and images. Intended for currency, look for an Rss feed that someone offers that will shows the exchange rate. Do similar thing with the currency Feed that is executed with weather. RSS feeds are usually valid permission to apply on your website. They’re just provided by site authors as a swap for a hyperlink back. It may not be ethical to " scrape" someone’s web pages without permission… as in beginning someone’s HTML in addition to parsing the knowledge you need.

IM link in site
Concerning a potential client that may want to put an Quick Message link in his site. So 2 user sees something such as " Talk to be able to Me" link, that opens up an IM box. I found solely 2 things about this through a seek, and it looks like it usually is done, but it should be coded for a unique IM service, for instance AIM or Google Messenger. Anybody performed this before A no cost one called " Meebo" http: //www. meebo. com/meebome/ In addition , they have one that jointly all other messengers… http: //www. meebo. com/products/ Without cost, but you need to keep their " branding" around the interfaces. Sure I found meebo, but I also found this page. Where you simply put a url in. From many of the feedback I’ve read aging seem like it’s a reliable way to do it, but I do not know. Have you seen this kind of link before You’ve still got to have the goal installed to make it work that way. Other option is to apply a PHP/MySQL chat script. or online world. chat4support. com something such as that. Sure just linking, from what Allow me … Continue reading

Hey guys!
Hi there everyone, I’ve just joined, was referred with a mate of mine due to me needing some website development info and him like a coder greater than a designer. So here i will discuss my questions lol… Everyone puting up using me I want to get started in web style.. I have zero previous experiance or maybe education in every of it and would want to know where to begin with. I would love to hopefully make website design a career (I’m presently 20 so require the ball rolling). I dont think i’d enjoy the codeing facet of it as much as the design. What order associated with teaching my self could be best With just what tools At this point, I’m self teaching myself Dreamweaver because i got told its one of the best of both worlds and can make the other indepth tools seem more closely familiar rather than just jumping towards them. And so, what do i do Merely a basic summary involving options and ideas of my next actions to adopt over how ever long it requires to become a basic web designer…. Tough question i realize, but good fortune hehe Thanks in your time. … Continue reading

Hello there, I will be facing an unusual issue when exploring. When i flick through or its shows if the page takes a few minutes (5 or 6TH seconds) to acquire. Then if we all press refresh this gets loaded slowly and gradually. It happens oftentimes even in both the browsers. I think this as a result of. Is there any strategy to change the solution delay time In the event its not so is there a actual problem then Regards, Sathish I will be not having any problems with it. At least not with Firefox. Updated 10 times, not a difficulty. Loaded fine personally, a second hesitate or so to get the flash. It is your actual link. Try accessing it using a different computer (a computer that may be not on exactly the same network). I’m sure he basically reference his browser speed not just on the link he wear his signature. Sometimes this will depend on your web connection. If you’re by using a dial-up, don’t end up being surprised it this loads ages. Move to DSL or maybe broadband for more rapidly connection.

But I thought that in case you used STRICT XHTML after that link targets are not allowed Diddy… you might be correct. An alternative is always to use Javascripting. I found this quote online: Yes, I know for sure that this can be a case for Demanding, but I’m pretty sure I could use target=" _blank" upon … Continue reading

redirect
Hello everyone, That is my 2nd submit and am a newbie to the design world but happen to be working in the computer Networking/communications arena for 20 years these days. I have a new question regarding a web site I am performing (my first ) The world wide web server is sitting over a home network using a private ip tackle and NAT is running using a firewall that is usually redirecting the traffic on the internet to the device and vise versa. I ran a test at www. delorie. com to find out the site and am finding a message saying " The world wide web server returned your " redirect". Google may not constantly follow redirects. The URL listed below reflect the page I was redirected to. " now from what We can gather this principles would be with the nating I was doing on my own firewall but as I dont possess spare ip details laying around with regard to my web equipment there arent a great number of options available in my experience, is there anyone here that can tell me if this will be a problem with my Search results submissions (Google, LIVE MESSENGER, Yahoo) … Continue reading
sIFR – FINALLY All Fonts Available on the Web!
Check this out: http: //www. mikeindustries. com/blog/sifr/ All these guys are nothing at all short of great. They created the Flash + Javascript component that takes virtually any HTML document and replaces < h*> elements that has a Flash object with the same size comprising rich, beautiful text. What what this means is to us, as designers, is that individuals can design websites that use virtually any FONTS WE NEED, without having to produce images for all of them. Better yet, these pages will be 100% accessible, with sIFR fonts displayed to virtually all web users, plus the remainder simply seeing the default CSS-specified net fonts. HOW COOL IS THIS!! I’m gonna make the first sIFR page tomorrow!: -D All right, I just tested out it out…. really freakin sweet!!! Usually there are some little annoyances distinct to Flash (e. h. can’t copy that sIFR’ed chunks regarding text with the rest of the body), but that’s acceptable. I’ve seen this just before, a couple of prohibited… There was something about it that has been not good (but MY SPOUSE AND I can’t remember). I’ll should re-visit it again. I had never been aware of anything like that, but obviously they … Continue reading
