Fine so I’m assuming this is the right place for this…
Attached is usually a screenshot of a typical page of a website I’m designing. Currently, does anybody else think that the ‘flatness’ from the top makes it look a lttle bit stupid Or type of, unfinished Like commonly there’s a bill or a logo above the key text but because the main text begins immediately and those two things shabby each side it types of looks a bit odd
Does anybody like it Or agree by using me Thoughts
Thanks a ton
Yeah I think something is required to be there even if its merely a thin red tier or something, but I quite including the simplicity of everything, i’d have to view the site inside the flesh to actually know but at times very clean and simple sites sites can work effectively
Very clean design… it takes minimalism too much, in my opinion.
I really like it, I believe it looks genuinely nice. But I do agree that a red line on the top could appear cool, or maybe lines this way: ///////// going throughout the top…
Very boring imo
Okay thanks but I was only asking for opinions on what I said — the flatness with the top
I’ll try it having a red line or maybe what you recommended, raspberry, thank a person
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with looking to be different, or even trying something brand new. The problem that layout suffers out of is focus. You’ll find nothing on the page that will draw the visitors eye for the appropriate part belonging to the page. The natural inclination on most western both males and females, when confronted having a page layout is always to focus first, top center after which it move to top rated left. Generally engaging, this is the key reason why most western layouts were created around the screaming or masthead file format. For your layout to be effective effectively, you must provide something that works as a graphic element within the page, that will pull the visitors perspective towards that portion of the page you think they must see first. Left while it is I believe that reactions like the ones from SolidGold will end up being fairly typical.
I like it, it would be a very good page for displaying largest part information, things like finer points and FAQ’s. If you intend your whole site to become like that even though i think it could be a bit dreary.
Instead of a line you may try putting A 3d model or 2 color shaded intro tier, " the company page" to good it some degree. Just a believed…
Bear in mind that this isn’t really finished and I was only really trying for critique on the one thing I mentioned inside first post…
However yeah, I was considering putting a red/crimson kind of messy background inside the top left, like something by the artist David Carson, that like highlighted the ‘home’ concept and contrasted the logo on the right (which will be against the simply white).
Brian Carson you imply
Yeah… whoops *edits*.
