How do I accept credit cards?

Hello there guys,

Just wondering what is the best way to simply accept credit card payment (specifically Visa) about my website (without implementing Paypal) I’m throughout Australia so I’d ought to use an Australian company to get this done…

My hosting provider has a shopping cart setup icon while in the user control panel but I’m if it’s just the particular software backbone on the shopping cart compared with a complete transaction system.

I may or might not exactly want a purchasing cart system but at the minimum I would need to accept payments via my website

Thanks
Neil

Concerning a friend in Brisbane who’s this site:

http: //www. craftqueen. com. au/

He or she uses CubeCart, that’s free, and located a Gateway to get WestPac
that he put in CubeCart (I imagine the Gateway module seemed to be $50 )

The actual gateway (credit cards processor):
http: //www. westpac. com. au/internet/publish. nsf/Content/BBCMMS World-wide-web payment solutions

He’s very happy with them and seems like to work excellent.

If Westpac looks like a good option in your case and you like to
get considerably more about using his or her gateway on CubeCart,
PM (private message) me with your real email deal with and I’ll have
him or her email you.

At my job (in the usa, so I do not know if it pertains to AU), we use Verisign PayFlow Expert for large-scale significant sites and PayPal for your little ones where the spending budget is lower. Both integrate nicely using a custom store solution we developed, so all Verisign/PayPal accomplish is receive payment information after which respond with no matter whether it’s valid.

Hey guys thanks for that help! Things are clearer in my experience now… I’ve simply sent you yet another PM with our addy mlseim.

Cheers
Neil.
