Relating to been working using Front Page 2002 plus redoing our businesses intranet site. We are supposed to get working web discussions and subscription. Etc the server WE put office server extensions on and was likely to configure them with all the web discussion databases (SQL Server 2000) plus subsciption stuff. Well I continue getting this same error after typing from the information about the internet discussion database. I cannot determine what I here’s doing wrong. So Relating to made a online discussion with Top Page 2002. I seems to be effective ok but the boss also would like the subsciption products on there in addition to Front Page doesn’t appear to support that, a minimum of I haven’t located any documentation upon it. If anyone is aware why my configuration from the discussion database failed please ok , i’ll know what can be wrong. Home Hosting Problems

Good day, First things first, I phoned way up my ISP (BT) and in addition they said YES My business is allowed to serve webpages from my home computer if it doesn’t generate to much page views or exceed 1gb tranfer monthly. They said hi-def do Static IP address’s. Clear. I recently installed a package called phpdev5 and this also enabled me to utilize my computer to be a local host. MY SPOUSE AND I then installed apache in addition to everythings working great. I put all the web files inside the WWW folder and everythings working very good. I did get Forbidden messages ; however , put all the particular files I would like to publish inside a public folder. That will problem was sorted. When I type in my IP handle in my browser http: //MYIPHERE/public/ the idea works fine, takes me to the index page along with everythings ok. YET, when someone else moves on my IP address from other home computer they get a " Page Can not be Displayed" page. Quite simply nobody can gain access to my files accept me for strange reason. news bar on the side – rss feed or php

I’m gonna have a summary of company-related news stories in a sidebar on any page and I need a great way to add a story and get all the web sites dynamically updated when using the new story in addition to the stack. I am working with PHP a little, so I can easily visualize a way it could be done through PHP, but then there’s also the chance of using REALLY SIMPLY SYNDICATION feeds… Any positives and negatives or alternatives RSS is made for getting stuff through other sites, not your own. You COULD make use of RSS, but it would be VERY redundant, much better to code it when, not twice. Work with PHP. Cool, thanks for that reply.
