The elusive debate: handcoding vs Dreamweaver
Hi, I have one of the many questions that include probably been repeated over and over again. I am regarded new to internet site building, I graduated from your University of Phoenix online for Website development and it were feeling rushed, so most of the languages I’ve learned weren’t fully perceived, basically JavaScript, and it’s may be tricky subject to get myself. I use Dreamweaver to discover my designs, though I hands code my CSS and HTML I’ve a basic additional CSS sheet i tweak depending on the site, and HTML is basically a breeze. I have difficulty with Javascript plus was wondering if Dreamweaver will probably be worth using to put into action my JavaScript code. I’ve Picked upwards supplemental books of which state Dreamweaver sometimes have larger chunks connected with JavaScript code, although has higher cell phone compatability. I have had trouble finding local companies that make use of Dreamweaver for their Javascript coding, but a pal of mine of which works for one such companies doesn’t learn JavaScript or PHP, I’ve asked for advice and I purchase a response " we’ve found a guy that does that". I intend at learning these ‘languages’ to code yourself, but … Continue reading

Dreamweaver To Firefox Ratio Problems! I Think…
Good day, We are new to web site design. I created a website in dreamweaver. The top part has a corporation flash banner. The tabs all have got links to different pages. In dreamweaver. ONLY TWO questions. ONE. When I previewed the property page in Firefox the flashbanner had a gap between the bottom on the space and this slice immediatly under it. Funny thing is there’s no gap on opera, chrome as well as safari. Does anyone realize why and how we can fix this ONLY TWO. Not an important question but, I want to be sure the pages are generally all linked together once about the host like they’re locally. I couldnt figure out how to do the full upload FTP factor with Dreamweaver so i did it with Filezilla, that is what GoDaddy suggested anyways. Plus its more visual and so easier for our brain to place my head all-around. Anyways,,, If I simply drag and drop your whole root folder straight into host will your links still website link together What about excess stuff around my assets folder Is that a problem Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Especially the whole firefox issue. If you are … Continue reading

.dhtml, flash or java?
Howdy everyone, I used to be thinking of setting up a poll of this specific, but would value better answers. I would just like the opinion of the floor as to, when the using either is possible, what the preference is made for. dhtml, flash, java or any option and exactly why, when designing a niche site. Many thanks, Dan Server-side language for example PHP (along together with MySQL). In addition to using JQuery and/or AJAX (combination regarding PHP and Javascripting). In addition to why Because you will find there’s ton of support for those of those, in addition to many examples in addition to pre-made scripts. All are with relative ease to learn very. Which is my two cents. . Many thanks mlseim, We have but scraped the particular surface with. php and am interested to learn more about AJAX having recently read about it. I don’t suppose you might direct me in direction of some useful resources to buy a beginner going I’d consider the DHTML issue, and go a single step further… jQuery. jQuery makes performing DHTML-related and AJAX-related stuff a great deal of easier by minimizing as much Javascript required (particularly in AJAX calls). Flash It … Continue reading
