Recognize the value of anyone’s feedback on this subject question. Thanks beforehand. I saw the following cool transparent shading effect on a website. What’s the best ways to implement the following – Non Thumb. See attached picture Thanks dotnetweb Here’s an example, simple but something you are able to play with. They make use of a white color backdrop and set the particular opacity to 60. The text over top is just not affected. The example you gave likely uses gray or black. There are usually other ways way too using transparent png graphics (or gifs). great. Thank you completely.

Graphics. Done. Now, can it work?

I’m doing a new website (my first in Ten years or so). Concerning determined my design and style and how I’d like the site in order to function. However, I cannot to the life of us find any information on how to make it work began seeing I want. Frankly, I’m not sometimes sure if it depends with my confined knowledge and features. I’m using Dreamweaver (unless anyone features a better suggestion) to make the site, hosted as a result of GoDaddy. In the particular attached file, you can view the layout involves three vertical columns. I’d like the best column (avitar header & gold background) to keep fixed, as I want to add navigation along with other links within the particular gold area. Inside the second (white) column, I would like content–blog posts, photographs, recipes, etc. –to often be scrollable (without truly showing scroll bars, if possible). I’d also like that section to have got a fluid width for compatibility/viewability by a variety of browsers and/or coomputer sceens. The third (small, narrow) section would likely remain fixed such as the first. This is my second problem. I don’t need this layout to acquire a separate backdrop color or image … Continue reading

wordpress evolve theme

Pricey All, I had been wondering if anyone can tell me only can change your grey (entry-back. jpg) backdrop, in my progress theme, preferably to a white background. and how i could do that Thnks Paul Without taking a look at the code, it sounds like you could possibly just swap out and about that image. You may simply recreate and replace the entry-back. jpg with one more white image if you know where it is stored within your theme folder. Yeh we agree, easy to change, just recreate the background you desire and name it the same as the current one then ftp it ” up “, or name them something else incase you wish to revert back plus rename it in the css code.

photo shoot essentials

Definitely, I might be taking with in-house photography duties and I had been wondering what people think must be some essential equipment for while i do shoots. Up to now I’ve got: -camera -tripod -digital level -lint roller -squeeky toy Any suggestions which y’all feel are very important Really very good lighting. I aim to do most pics in natural light, but when MY SPOUSE AND I can’t I use some really good xenon ( light source fixtures ) reflected off from some white difusers I made. A quality neutral backdrop resources… When I can product shoots MY PARTNER AND I try black, white or grey towels… But I estimate that’s always dependent on the subject ( merchandise ) and or perhaps client. Once did some for any client…. Did some sort of diffused spotlight… In the pitch black room, and set the products on a half inch slab involving dark grey marble… Turned out really nice, so nice among their competitors have something eerily similar your next year. My client asked only had done in which for them.

text and a background image

Alright, I’m working on the single page internet site. I want to own a background graphic with text within various places round the page. This wording, hopefully, will live in the exact spot regardless of the monitor size or browser getting used. Also, the text will connection to other pages which will open in small turn up windows (I figured out that part). Does anyone have ideas as to how sometimes it is accomplished The keeping the exact spot is usually a problem. What transpires if someone is definitely using the 15inch monitor, and another is employing a 20inch monitor. In addition, the resolution of these video. Can you mean your back links squish together and spread apart, or is the background fixed I wonder in case you are spending way too much time on something will not contribute to the net site. Why not just display this links where people can potentially click on them And consider iPad, laptops, netbooks, people with a couple of 20-inch monitors side by side… etc. Confidence me, nobody cares about you how " cool" you may make your links… it’s about content. you might do an GOOD OLD SCHOOL image map… yet again, … Continue reading

Is PHP the best language to learn.

Great day all, My business is kind of new to web design and I was likely to learn a language to create dynamic websites. I became thinking of taking PHP as the open source. I have found that many hardware languages including VHDL, Assembly terminology, C++, and Embedded D. From what I hear the internet design languages will be all very simular. Just wondering whenever anyone had an opinion or your favourite. Yes, learn PHP in conjunction with MySQL. You’ll find it easy, because of the C++ experience. I mention PHP due to the tons of on the web support, documentation, and so on. You’ll also want to buy AJAX, a mixture of PHP and javascripting (JQuery specifically). Honestly the best answer is who knows I’ve very self-assured in my C++ skills at the same time but I earn an income without knowing an individual statement of PHP to be a web design/developer. What is it that you’ll be looking to do exactly There are several APIs, Services, CMSs, incorporated backends, and other tools which could eliminate lots of hassle and headache in your case. While I enjoy writing code Truly found myself finding simpler methods of do things rather … Continue reading
