newbie question!

Hey guys I used to be wondering if anyone would be able to help me out having a quick problem that is definitely driving me crazy! Say I have a page style done in fireworks…. the particular graphics and word etc. is all done there. In that case I export this to. html so I will edit it even more in dreamweaver. All of the text I acquired done in fireworks has become in a. gif structure…… and when I check out it in dreamweaver after which click on " edit" so I will modidy it throughout fireworks, I are unable to change the copy! Basically what I’m trying to puzzle out is how I’ll change spelling errors or sentances on whe whole that were established in fireworks, exported for you to. html, opened in dreamweaver after which I found away needed editing.
