CSS footer question

Now i am having trouble retaining my footer at the bottom of the internet browser, i can solve the issue if i work with a image by applying css Code: #footer_back (line 425) clear: both; width: 100%; background-color: #ffffff; background-image: url(/img/footer. png); background-repeat: repeat-x; background-attachment: scroll; background-position: middle bottom; but it’s actually a solid color and so i rather a background color any help with this Any more information on your problem I cant understand what you long for to do i apologize, i didnt express that well i want a footer at the bottom of my web-site to always sit at the bottom even if the entire body content is much less tall as that browser. Need advice on how to create layout

I am fairly new to web page design. I have studied it for just two semesters in institution, but I get forgotten many techniques since. However, I understand enough to follow any advice given. POST designed the system in iWeb. Normally, I would be content with using iWeb to help publish my web page, but I would like to add a fall down menu, jquery slideshows, lightboxes, sliding off the road forms, member logins, for example… to my website. What I am seeking is several advice on the way to break down my own layout and produce my site inside Dreamweaver CS5. Especially, I need help deciding the way to slice the format and I manage the divs inside Dreamweaver. I have advisable how to peel and manage the header and footer; nonetheless, I am befogged on how MY PARTNER AND I should structure the menu to the right. In Urgent need of help

Hey everybody. I’ve got your background image using a website. However I would like the body content being in a almost white semi-transparent layer. So the image can certainly seen through it though the text is understandable!
