Good sites to look at for ideas

Might some one post links to some well designed internet sites, its always nice to see what works. Preferably sites which are functional but good designed. rollover text links – how to?

I have been previously wondering how to set-up those links which you see everywhere — the people that are bold to begin with but then when the mouse rolls around it becomes underscored as well as perhaps another colour. what do i need to do to achieve this thanks on your time! : p. azines. a simple example may be the CNN. com homepage — almost all links for headlines there are what i’m referring to (only backwards w/the underscore disappearing) you’ll want to use CSS:: . yourlink ANY font-family: Verdana; colour: blue; text-decoration: it’s unlikely that any; . yourlink ANY: hover colour: red; text-decoration: underline; Also you can have a stylesheet, this can save you having to key in the css code for each link and have it for the entire page! Legality of posting re-designs

Everyone know the specifics of this Say I re-designed top page to Aol! and posted this on my site (as an apparent re-design, credits granted to yahoo. com, for example, no shady business). Would this be legal Moreover, would it be legal to make use of any of its trademarks, such since logos, existing artwork, etc. I think a large factor will be whether or not you make money off it. If you’re not, my guess will be tey probably wont grant you any trouble although it’s not allowed. No money shall be made from the idea, purely from the educational standpoint. I understand I’ve seen such thinggs as it done previous to, but I don’t know if explicit published permission was granted. Like here I don’t think you happen to be allowed to do it in all honesty. I know people enter trouble when they will post stories by way of duplicating CNN web sites or something. Transio made one a bit ago I think Not sure whenever you can do it.

Netobjects Fusion 8 headache

Hi there all, I just now made a website and uploaded the idea, but I have noticed a challenge, and I couldn’t solve it. This is it. For every link page, " /html" arrives before it. Such as. If my site is definitely cnn. com and I’ve other pages such as — world -africa -asia, or anything else Some of the ways its suppose to appear (and also the way I should give people the average person addresses: cnn. com/world cnn. com/africa cnn. com/asia or anything else. But instead what we get is: cnn. com/html/world. html cnn. com/html/africa. html cnn. com/html/asia/html I’d like to see to remove this specific middle " /html" Can any1 tell me how to handle it I’m not good around html coding, thats why i employ this fusion 8, and my free trial run period will end in 9 nights. Help with web content feed

Hi My business is new to that forum and I need some assistance from other experienced fighters. I have done a a number of basic webdesigns in addition to PHP and connecting to sql db. I would prefer to add eyeglasses to my internet site and in these frames I need to add many live content just like from a news website by way of example cnn or people. I also choose to link to live local weather reports. I am undecided if I am with all the correct terminology by simply saying " live content". I work with dreamweaver CS3.
