So much code for so little to show

I’m endeavoring to make a straightforward page (template) with a menu across the top (well, I go made) but there’s basicly no content into the page, and yetthere has expired 600 lines of code simply to make a menus that only includes 4 selections. I am just using Coffeecup HTML CODE editor, which I guess may be a mistake. I was getting some ideas out of pages I’ve observed here (pages Now i’m doing are just for personal ‘training’, and Concerning no intention regarding stealing someones function, I’m just endeavoring to learn) Something such as the menu Below, Tekp’s site will be what I’m endeavoring to do. Graphics/Character Encoding for PCs and Macs

Hello. Relating to my recently created, very simple Web page (using CoffeeCup HTML for a PC with Your windows program XP) at www. paul-engstrom. com… It looks fine after i view the site for a PC with Net Explorer. However, after i view the site for a Mac with World-wide-web Explorer or Netscape, usually the one simple background picture on my website is entirely more advanced than the image WE inserted, or getting older appear at many. And, with the Mac, the image image on yet another page doesn’t show up… just the little red " x" does. While in the header of the actual HTML page, I inserted this figure encoding: < meta http-equiv=" Content-Type" content=" text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" I also tried including: print " Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8/n/n"; Nothing seems to figureout. I want to be a web designer but how?

Recently i got made well not required before christmas, which was also when we were getting married. It had been a shock and thought about no back up plan, i said we would never let it happen again. So i’d prefer to go into website development, My last employment was Cad-programmer/operator so im not only a stranger to pc’s. So heres what you want from you men…. What route/ path/ courses will i need to become an internet designer. A- B and so forth… Begin from scratch, no person seems to present me a right answer (just wish my money) I’d like this new profession, as its something let me enjoy plus we can work for myself together with a day employment. Also there looks like it’s lots of other avenues going down. I here the words Html ( that we know about) Dreamweaver, illustrator & java script banded close to but no begin finish now the qualified courses. Make sure you help me!
