http: //home. comcast. net/fredv4/xhtml/ Was mandated to link to them to retain this formatting. This should be only version 1. 0, model 1. 1 using more in-depth explanations of PHP plus CSS to explain certain issues. This and your osCommerce topic were said to be tutorials, but oh yea well.. If you need to submit them while tutorials, you have to attach them or even post their full text here. Goodness me, I didn’t find out. Should I re-post these individuals Yes, you possibly can, if you attach or post fully text Whoa, now THAT’s formatting!

Hosting your own site from home ?
Hello again, love the revolutionary look, very fitted. I dare say i am opening up an important can of worms here but Relating to recently found myself that has a spare PC in the home and wanted to place it to operate, it would be the perfect piece of kit to do to play around with and learn some new items so I wondered, can I use it as a webserver by using a typical Broadband connection including Comcast I’m not going to do anything too ambitous with it, just host my own ring website for family and friends but I figured it will be a great way of learning IIS (if MY SPOUSE AND I use win 2000 server) or perhaps PWS (if I stay with win2K pro). from what I recognize the problem is in Comcasts powerful IP address. for me that will host does it must be a static IP or is there a way around this. Can anyone lose some light during this and offer some advice during this project please Regards, Mitch……. You would need a static IP deal with… there are websites with that offer this. Exactly why not many people host his or … Continue reading

Dumb question, CSS layer styles
I built a internet page at 800×600. I’m trying to figure out how it is I will get the content/layout to become centered, that way when people perspective the page at say 1024×768, the content will not stretch leaving this page with a lot of white space. Like like if an individual made everything from a table and just did a centre alignment. Here’s a check out what I have got. https: //home. comcast. net/jerrysmartin The navigation about the left stays into the left and the flash within the right stays justified to the right. The content is with a div. I’d want to have it ready to where it’ll look uniform in whatever resolution. Bless you. -Mike You might even make your screaming image width = 760 pixels. Next, make a several changes as demonstrated below… Here i will discuss your CSS part for " body" shape background-image: url(images/background. jpg); background-repeat: repeat-x; margin: 0px; support: 0px; Try changing it for this: code, body background-image: url(images/background. jpg); cursor: default; font-family: " Verdana", arial, " MS Sans Serif", Geneva, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 10px; line-height: normal; margin: auto; support: 0px 0px 0px 0px; min-width: 760px; text-align: centre; Next, add this to … Continue reading

my own web server
how could i set up my very own web server by using a spare computer to get free(no expensive application. the item runs on glass windows 98, is previous, but still operates Windows 98 is not good for hosting (or, you already know, using a computer). Install Windows NT, Glass windows 2000 (better), or Windows 2003 (best when you can support it) as well as Apache. However, don’t do it except for private testing use: You should pay for the bandwidth. The majority of hosts cap this upload bandwidth carefully and don’t allow servers. If you finance hosting, they recognize more about safety than you. i likewise have an xp computer system. what could my spouse and i do with which why would i only put it to use for testing uses only I’m saying that a host whose business it truly is to serve web pages will have extra experience and competence than you (no offense) at running a server. Plus, you would need to get a company ISP like Comcast Organization or Verizon Business to have sufficient upload, plus be legally allowed to run the servers to start with.
