Home Hosting Problems

Good day, First things first, I phoned way up my ISP (BT) and in addition they said YES My business is allowed to serve webpages from my home computer if it doesn’t generate to much page views or exceed 1gb tranfer monthly. They said hi-def do Static IP address’s. Clear. I recently installed a package called phpdev5 and this also enabled me to utilize my computer to be a local host. MY SPOUSE AND I then installed apache in addition to everythings working great. I put all the web files inside the WWW folder and everythings working very good. I did get Forbidden messages ; however , put all the particular files I would like to publish inside a public folder. That will problem was sorted. When I type in my IP handle in my browser http: //MYIPHERE/public/ the idea works fine, takes me to the index page along with everythings ok. YET, when someone else moves on my IP address from other home computer they get a " Page Can not be Displayed" page. Quite simply nobody can gain access to my files accept me for strange reason. Gradient rollover intermediate

Heya folks. I’m seeking to create a nav bar influenced by gradients. Now, the gradient goes one of many ways usually, and the other on hover. But I’m not sure how to handle it to indicate the particular current’ section. Any ideas If you’d like imagery, I can attempt to put some in place. Maybe select a darker version belonging to the regular gradient As well as, change the font colour How about just a plain color… no gradient I’ve noticed this done before (don’t ask me where… I don’t remember) along with I remember thinking so it was a nice contrasting tool for doing it. karinne — I’ve tried that, but I don’t like it much. Maybe I’m not using the right color, though — I used one of the two extremes. I’ll see what goes on if I use maybe one of the colors from in the gradient. I’ll try that darker version on the gradient, -chris-, that was not a bad thought. Changing the font colour isn’t enough, however, in my impression.
