Clueless about tax info for freelance jobs

Hi guys, I recently finished up a quick web design job plus the guy i havethe post paid with mentioned getting my SSN to get tax purposes. I’ve yet to master much about taxations & freelance operate, so I’m simply wondering what everyone others do regarding such things. Could it be cusotmary to hand out your SSN regarding contractual work Also, what should I do to assure all my tax stuff is legit and as a way. Is the customer always right?

Together with my experience I’d initially say yes and attempt to push the shopper towards your design/layout. However Concerning recently been told that we am wrong as well as the customer is in no way right. Being a developer if the customer wants an internet site . that is definately not visualy appealing you shouldn’t accept their view becouse it could actually discredit you layout skills So will be customer always appropriate, should you design for their wants or should you design a web page that looks greater then what they surggest Assuming you aren’t hired by a web design/developing firm, as well as an overloaded designer/developer, then the consumer probably doesn’t understand anything about building a website. They do not know what works plus what doesn’t. For that reason they’ll imagine bizarre fantasy sites that contain flashing banners, horizontally scrolling content boxes, and pop-ups all over the place. They don’t know that this is bad form for your website.
