Anyone have any advice in this I might have the next job where we shall be doing tiny to medium web 2 . 0, and one on the possibilities is to connect 3 separate LANs from 3 offices with each other. Don’t know much beyond this however. Initial guess is always to have " server" on one location, having all 3 workplaces VPN’ing into that. How secure does the full thing should be How many users are you searching at having but will they have roaming profiles It might be a thought to have the server at each location get rid of WAN traffic if there will be a lot with users moving loads of data. Bear in mind, one server means one central position of failure for your entire network. It was great some three years ago when the organization Exchange server fails in California (and Im in Maryland) and nobody inside the entire corporate network can use Outlook, including e-mail.
