site size
Another newb question, I am building my internet site, again on dreamweaver, and I am using photoshop to produce gifs for this nav bar/graphics/etc. We have just completed the nav bar, and already i am at 23 e for site size. What is a suitable site size these days Is there any gif compression to be used Maximum size for all those files together that make up a page shouldn’t ideally be more than 60KB, and definately only 100KB. You can use GIF compression I think, but the best thing to do is to assure your graphics are reused throughout your web blog. If you’re reusing the nav through the site, I believe 23K is ok, but you would be wise to try to compress graphics whenever you can without loosing excessive quality. Definitely, Many thanks guys, big help. Something must are actually hiding in this file, because I cleansed it up plus the nav bar appeared to be only 4 k in the end. My main page is still gonna be all around 60k; I have a variety of rollover images in a large graphic club.
