.htaccess changing .html to .php
Merely wondering if it’s htacces(I’m like guessing) that allows to perform the same idea that this forum uses to change thread4342. html to obviously like showthread. phppage=4342 and so forth… how would I begin doing this Here I use a custom-written. htaccess archive that uses mod_rewrite. mod_rewrite calls for URLs and, assigned regular expressions, converts them to figureout in other platforms. It is not with the weak of heart and soul, especially if that you do not know regular expressions. Dang =/ I was hoping there’d be a less arduous way.. I’ve always snuck underneath the line when it comes to regular expressions.. editing other peoples’ work and melding it in mine. To me it will as well possibly be 21315413lsaf; lkjfdsa =/ Bless you anyway. Well as an example here, showthread. php is in the syntax: showthread. phps=sessionhash& threadid=threadid So the regexp to convert it will be: showthread. php\s=(a-f0-9*)& threadid=(0-9+) to thread$2. html … There’s no doubt that. The first regexp matches any hex string (or an empty string), and the second matches a variety with a minumum of one digit. It then maps the other match to the appropriate position in additional string. However confusing It took me … Continue reading

Web Safe Colors
What are the dangers of employing colors for web site design that arent ‘Web Safe’ Does it have to do with browsers I am talking about, do only old browsers must have colors that usually are ‘web safe’. Am I spending my time getting web safe colors to fit my site when it only benefits an extremely small percentage regarding people Furthermore, if I try a cholor scheme thats possibly not ‘web safe’ so how exactly does it appear with browsers that dont see made from correctly There’s no doubt that the ‘web-safe’ shapes and colours idea was created when some monitors only had that capability to show 256 colours. Given that most screens resolution can cope with 24-bit or more significant, I for one don’t follow the websafe principles. there are 216 web-safe colorations.. they were named that way because at lowest those common colors could be represented somewhat accuratly no matter what browser, monitor, THE GW990, etc.. your users viewing your website page are using. The one effect that would happen is all colors that are not websafe would display as a different color, generally the closest website safe color. People rules dont really apply much anymore.. i … Continue reading

As for text, you can’t help it become any smaller. Im confused if I understand what precisely you mean, could you post a connection to said page please, so I will take a ganders average joe. You have a couple of options in ones situatuion: – Look into stuff like mod_gzip to get apache or gzip compression setting through php. – Split the actual page into 2 or 3 logical sections. – If you work with tables, make sure that your tables are accordingly nested, etc. Incorrect tables can dramatically add to the load time. and so forth. Also look into using CSS to help format your textual content. W3Schools is an excellent place to discover CSS. Or if you be insane, write a viewer for instance Deviantart. com accustomed to have – along with transfer only that essentials If you ever slice your photographs the page will load faster as … Continue reading
