liquid design & full screen text

Simply just wondering what various other design gurus think of using liquid design and having to deal with 1600×1200+ monitors in which make text span throughout the whole screen. Popular wisdom on the web design says that text should not span more compared to 4" wide from a column. Too difficult to read. I tend make use of liquid design on the majority of my sites because i’m keen on being able to take advantage of the whole screen. Sad to say, though, liquid design expresses that text will expand to fit the user’s filter, meaning you have got HUGE blocks regarding text that’s hard to read. pictures garbled when uploaded!!

Hello, I’m new for this forum, and why I came the following is because I have a very big problem with the website I’m developing. I thought someone of there’s a chance you’re able to respond to this question. After i upload the pages (which looks fantastic in dreamweaver) to help my server this images become fully garbled. It is quite frustrating. I don’t know why this occurs. Here’s one among a page where by this has happend on the header. You can only see the superior of it. In dreamweaver all is fine along with the header is regarding 10 times more than it is now. It seems like this only tends to happen to. gif documents. Hi there Guys, im new the following so opologies if inside wrong section. Ive developed a basic comedy website. Ive created buttons so that you can click and focus on the characters. It had been created in dreamweaver mx applying fireworks and photshop for any images. However…… i’d like to see to click to the buttons and the item plays an music clip without exhibiting a player and also, as it currently does, offers to download or help save file. are sliced photoshoped web sites search friendly

I became told you need h1 tags and fair bit of headers sentences and content on the page. My problem is definitely my site is sliced in photshop and developed in tables. Does that allow it to be worse for seo as well, is there a method to slice your illustrator layouts and bring them into dreamweaver in many ways where you may have headings and all that good material.
