Prices you charge?
I’ve been looking around web development sites, and I see some which are really expensive, and many that are genuinely cheap. A couple associates of mine have approached me to develop a site for them, and I care what a fair price could well be. I would be creating every one of the graphics, layout, and database programming with regard to them (its your clan site). So what would be a reasonable price to charge them I don’t want to go too low cost, but I also don’t prefer to rip them off. Giving a quote on the website job is actually tough, and anyone approaches it in another way. One factor to take into account is how bad you choose the job, relative to just how much they can fork out. If you want the job and in addition they can’t afford a large amount, taking the job on in the discount can always be worth while as time goes on as you can certainly add this job for a portfolio. Honestly my answer in your case is to aim to estimate how much you consider they can have the funds for, and charge these individuals that amount, if … Continue reading

Going for a new look
Hi, I think I will go with a urban type hunt for my graphics similar to graffiti and urban center lights. For the colors match light grey for your bg, and black with the text. If I became going to use the page as more of a portfolio/ buisness form site what nav can be best Ill article the mainsite after i finish. Umm.. whichever one fits within the design the best. BTW, I’d reccomend steering clear of straight greyscale off white backgrounds.. they have a tendency to turn out negative. Brak, what color does one suggest for the particular background Well color scheme is rely on everybudy’s choice…. it’s depended on you which color you prefer and also depended upon site’s design… if you’d prefer fresh colors… examine http: //server4sale. com this uses freash color… although almost everybudy functions light color history especially white… there are several colors which accommodates with white bg. cheers!! .

I am only 15, but I wanted to make a account site for me to display projects that we have worked on in the past. However I are not sure in what manner I should compose my content. At my age can i be aiming towards rendering it sounds and appear as professional that they can OR Should WHEN I make it a little more personal and more of an fun approch to be able to it Cost-free is harder to help explain but I imagine you already know what I mean What other suggestions what you suggest for me to include on my site Rembering We are only 15 plus am not seeking to come across as being a big company like most people do Thank you, Daniel Oliver. State you’re an individual, lower using your age – The very first thing I’ve learnt is always that practically nobody requires your age – you could be breaking a law using some land regarding working at your real age, I’m not convinced. All I know is at 16 I’ve done plenty of stuff for men and women, and it’s simply clients that Truly " befriended" beyond the duration in the … Continue reading

The aim is to answer the following question, which is directed at graphical user interface designers: What’s your struck rate – are you wanting of your ideas ensure it is into your account, ie that go from suggestions to real work that you may point to in the event you were applying for any job or pitching any client YOU. About a third or less. COUPLE OF. About half or maybe less. THREE OR MORE. About two thirds. FOUR. More than not one but two thirds. I’d be most grateful if you ever could take a matter of seconds to complete my online survey at http: //www. surveymonkey. com/s. aspu=82465672930 There is only one concern. You don’t must give any figuring out information. I’ll post the outcome when my market research is finished. Thanks in advance, Anthony.
home page doesn’t work in Firefox – what’s going on?
This morning I changed the date on my site, and ftp’d it into the server. When WHEN I opened the updated page in Firefox, all I acquired was gibberish — Chinese or Western characters, and a number of others. The WEB ADDRESS is www. protonfabrication. com, and here’s this strange part – it displays the right way when I’m directed there by the link on yet another page, like the particular portfolio page (www. protonfabrication. com/portfolio-page-1. htm). The particular link takes us to www. protonfabrication. com/index. htm certainly not www. protonfabrication. com whilst they’re the similar page. When WHEN I type www. protonfabrication. com into your search window, WHEN I get gibberish, although add " index chart. htm" and this works. The homepage displays as it should in Mozilla, and also doesn’t in Opera. Clearly, I’m new to the, and any help can be appreciated. Things worked very good until I adjusted the date for the homepage yesterday, and I do not know what I may have done. Any ideas gives thanks, Andrew When you attempt to accessibility a root area (such as space. com), the browser actively seeks index. htm, index chart. html, home. htm, house. htm (default and … Continue reading

redesgin of portfolio
received two layouts, definitely not mega keen by using either but post prefer number TWO. the definition of your thought. got a perm work the now so its not likely to get work just by fun. really really need to change my present portfolio kind regards Of those people, I like #2. kind regards, i’m actually likely to scrap the Very first one after contemplating it more(realised this total rubish). likely to rework it proper really minimalistic kind site everything you didn’t such as about number2 I’m keen on it because it’s not ordinary. I’m so sick on the Web2. 0 structure junk. People need to color over and above the lines occasionally. Yep… 2’s great. I like it all… simple and useful yeah, number 2’s one to choose think i’m ging to figure on both even more and re-submit them. ta for your comments. had some bad feed back regarding the splats and my partner and i sorta agree thus will rework a number it and posting again far better layout. any ideas or crit. ta I think I still prefer your second one above. The three numbers in your links don’t squeeze in so well when using the … Continue reading
Web Design Ladder – The First Step
Hi. I am new to all this so please forgive me for just about any mistakes I may make. I am arriving for this site to try and find out a number of information regarding Website design training/qualifications. I spent a couple of my preceding working years as being a graphic design gofer, and thoroughly enjoyed this. I am hoping for getting back into the theory industry and think Web Design will be the way for me to go. What I need to know is what kind of training or qualification I really should be thinking of having. I do operate full time so it must be a distance learning course i can complete in by myself time. What definitely seems to be my best option at this time is a study course with. Could anybody tell my family what, if whatever, is known concerning this course/qualification, and is that worth persuing Are there some kind of industry recognised courses or other things that would associated with more benefit Any kind of help or information which i get on this matter could be greatly appreciated. Gives thanks. For straight up website design, most people will advise you to skip certification … Continue reading

how do companies test your skills before hiring?
For starters, do they genuinely do that I found a new design firm trying to find production assistants this summer. Not looking for the money (although Now i’m glad its a PAID internship! ) but more with the experience. My goal is to phase out this freelancing and work with several companies because I’d prefer my resume and portfolio to indicate more than just projects I did for several consumers. This company expects people to learn a fair a higher level CSS, RSS, HTML DOCUMENT, Dreamweaver, ectera.. none of the heavy stuff just like PHP. But I expect that parallel my 2 years of experience they may ask questions or ask if i could demonstrate my own skills. What does one think they’d want me to perform I will say that that working traditionally with Flash in addition to CSS has steered me off from Javascript functions and pop-up windows. Gives thanks. P. VERTS: The last publish I made in relation to integrated marketing ended up being very stupid.. WHEN I should’ve simply googled them. I’ve found together with interviews for jobs which have been for HTML, CSS stuff, they seem to check more at your portfolio, but it does … Continue reading
