site size

Another newb question, I am building my internet site, again on dreamweaver, and I am using photoshop to produce gifs for this nav bar/graphics/etc. We have just completed the nav bar, and already i am at 23 e for site size. What is a suitable site size these days Is there any gif compression to be used Maximum size for all those files together that make up a page shouldn’t ideally be more than 60KB, and definately only 100KB. You can use GIF compression I think, but the best thing to do is to assure your graphics are reused throughout your web blog. If you’re reusing the nav through the site, I believe 23K is ok, but you would be wise to try to compress graphics whenever you can without loosing excessive quality. Definitely, Many thanks guys, big help. Something must are actually hiding in this file, because I cleansed it up plus the nav bar appeared to be only 4 k in the end. web image help needed

Truly created some basic websites in past times, but I’m trying to create a brand-new one, and one element of it’s a large pixellated impression. Hello there all it’s my brand new here, so please be kind! I have made quite a few websites for myself along with other people, but now I’m really trapped. I am just using Dreamweaver 7, and have constructed a page and possess got a up and down navigation bar composed of 5 different rollover images. NEED HELP PLS!!??

howdy guys, i am designing a web page for my assignment and possess a problem…. Here is my Problem: We have used a In terms of iron background for my personal website and fixed it on a single place, so no move when my spouse and i scroll. To give it an extra effect, i created some sort of rollover image as well as positioned it in the eyes of your iron man bg implementing AP Div. But i want the AP Div to keep on one place, without moving it when i scroll the page and the rollover effect must still work, because everytime i summarize with the mouse the eyes should begin to glow because of the rollover effect. The "design process" for noobs.

Hello there all. We’ve only been building websites for about two weeks right now, am teaching by myself and am improving slowly, but obviously with only two months experience iIm very terrible atm. What I found hardest and I couldn’t often fin any info anywhere which was detailed enough was your whole process. What I’m keen on, (because if other new members come here intended for help like I did, this may end up being of use) is what you decide to do first, next, there after and last and so on. Start to surface. The first website I made, and I have to stress, this is obviously the incorrect way to exercise, but for an idea: MY PARTNER AND I designed my site in photoshop, did every very last element there besides the text. Next I divided it up in photoshop and exported it to some html file ready for easy use in dreamweaver. In dreamweaver I made every one of the images background images while in the ready made desk then added all of my text articles and made the particular rollover images to the menu bar, repeating this method for each page of my site.
