Help setting up rating system and zip code search functions!

Alright, I’m new right here, and this can be my first publish. I’ve poked about and tried to uncover something on the following to no acquire. I’m not sure this is the best place for you to post this query, so if there is a better forum by which to ask, okay know please! In this article goes. I’m not positive what programs We would like to work within do what I want to do and/or the proper way to do and so. I’ve seen a system over a food website whereby an individual may input a method of food, like pastry, and have a new dynamic page delivered with multiple dishes listed, with any user rating system incorporated. I am planning to do something comparable, only the user input would have been a zip code. When instances in mentioned zip code returning, users can perspective basic info together with a user ranking. They could click a chek out be directed to a page with additional info when this occurs, and rate reported instance themselves. CGI/PHP/NOT SURE Question

Jumping right in here- not sure if you have a thread for this or not but I will ask about this bc My business is limited on time to look the site— my apologies beforehand. My business is working on building a site for a buddy (Novice).. I am handling dreamweaver (I possess the full CS4 Control Collection) What I’m trying to do is produce a counter like usually the one at www. drudgereport. com (bottom right) that lists yesteryear 24hrs, month, and visits per year. I also really need to create a search function for your site, and some sort of suggestion box/tips or perhaps a contact text message area. I am TOTALLY newbie to how to get this done. I am less than the impression this would require a CGI application working in the background but I have no idea even what which means. And this I am asking- point me while in the right direction on which to search/research/learn in addition to I’m good. WordPress and Website Integration

Good day everyone, After your individual AlphaMare and Ronald Roe made it easier for me out, Relating to the basic basic principles of my site now working. Thank you again! At this point, I’m on to help making the content of the site. A large feature will be the encyclopedia, and along with news and post feeds, it has already been suggested on countless occasions that WordPress is ideal. I am agreeing with everyone. The search functions, categories, recent posts, all that jazz seems like it would job swimmingly with what I plan. What I don’t plan is having my site mimic a blog. I also put in a fair period creating a site from scratch having HTML, CSS as well as Javascript. I googled a couple of pages for guide on integrating several, but not just about all features into my already existing site.
