100% Stretch Or Not

Hi Im from a dialema the present site im implementing looks good yet is smallish upon screen, nearly every one of the sites i discover are set to 100% so they really fill the enitre screen but i feel this would leave a huge gap of unused space for the one im implementing and remove through the visual effects. Can a site sized at 750 * 550 centralised vertically and also horizontally still look as good as a site which fills up the whole screen sure…. there are sooooo many sites to choose from that have the width of 720-ish simply check the thumbnails upon www. cssvault. com I ment vertically definitely not horizontally my site is going 725 by 600 but i dont need to really stretch it being full length of a users screen because i believe it will leave lots of empty space but im confused if not possessing it 100% throughout length will detract from the site. also… hmmmm… i’m personnaly not too fond of site that will not span 100% length. i feel like i’m inside a tiny box, especially once i view it having my 21inch with 1600×1200 res. although that’s just us Is … Continue reading

Grrr… advice please

http: //www. jasonstanleydesign. co. uk/about. php The top isn’t finished. That can be a tiny interactive flash business presentation. The question the following is my sub navigation on my related to and services pages. What do you imagine of it I find My organization is distinctly undecided along with after much playing around from it I am looking for opinions and assistance. Is it OK as it is Have you got any suggestions on how I possibly could improve it It feels very disconnected through the main nav. Especially considering there’s a lot unused space correct there below the main nav. Probably have, I think it will be good to possess buttons or at the very least a text treatment that may be more just like the nav and less just like the other text in the left column. Additionally , it seems like this left column is actually playing double work: contact form, submission move nav, testimonials, and while you’ll find nothing wrong with a space playing double-duty, Exercise like to continue my nav within a special place, or at least the first a pair of levels. The color change helps with organization though. I guess overall it’s actually … Continue reading

I have a question associated with " The RIGHT strategy to design a website" Here at work we all get many opinions within the do’s and you should not s. I sooo want to get some professional advice merely may. Picture if you could a simple template layout. a) Major, header with a logo. b) Quit side, a " VERTICAL" column together with navigation menu. c) Under the header so to the right on the menu we have the main Body textual content area. d) footer with the base of the website. Dilemma: Considering the above template layout planned, we often end up with around 5 hyperlinks to 5 pages while in the navigation column. Often this creates lots of empty space while in the navigation menu area. If there’s a lot of content in one’s body area of the site it may be necessary to scroll lower, increasing the empty area under the actual navigation. Lots of designers here plan to add images having 1 px boarders towards navigation area to … Continue reading
