I understand it would vary person by way of person, depending on thier own opinions from the process. Questions that move through my mind cover anything from " How does someone get the information for your sites content" to help " Where would certainly I talk bussiness having them" To get information on the sites content, I thought perhaps letting them require a questionaire, I guess Love it if more don’t know, and that’s why I started this specific thread.
Communication may be a HUGE part on the design process. When you finally move away from designing a website for yourself, it gets a great deal harder. IMO, it’s your employment to advise the client on what may look best, but if your client absolutely, positively insists upon yellow text using a white background, it’s your job to produce that to these folks.
YOUR questionaire sounds really impersonal. Talk with all your client, ask them what they really want to achieve with this website. Ask all of them what their outlook are, how large they want their site to get and if exactly what they may propose for a style and design. As for content, I require the item in digital type, but nothing more complicated than a Concept document. After we receive the site topology understood, I tell them to make the content per page in any Word document while I work on the design in addition to navigation.
Your first several commercial sites will most likely be for people you already know.
