Need help figuring out to register email addresses to access a download.
Hello, My organization is building my primary website with dreamweaver and godaddy. I am endeavoring to allow people to access a free download of my band’s new music from my web-site, but I want them to acquire to register his or her email or join a email list, so I possess a database of those who have downloaded and followed my band’s tunes. I currently only need the songs inside a zip file upon my godaddy account so in the event you just put inside url it will probably download, but I want a quick or page to come up making these send me the email address to access the download. Thanks for just about any help! You’re planning to need more as compared with just basics… Seeing that you’re using godaddy, go check out their 1 simply click applications, there should always be a CMS or other pre built app that would permit you to setup the registration, user accounts, and so forth. Otherwise you’re planning to need some php or even asp ( scripting language ), a database setting this up. You ought to probably re-read that TOS for godaddy, but once they delete the zip record, it’s … Continue reading

Live Video Broadcasting/ Streaming
I am asked to do an internet site . for a weekly news blog and so they would like and therefore broadcast a live session a few times a week. I’ve looked all around at some surging services and would like to know other individuals views on buyer and if they have got any better solutions or ideas upon live video streaming. Nope, you’re looking in the right direction. Almost all hosting platforms get TOS that purely forbid streaming expertise, and many won’t even help you post videos in their servers. The many streaming services I’ve Everett checked ar pretty much a similar, your main concern is a location of the hosting provider with regards to your target target audience. If it’s any regional audience, you should often look for hosting with servers in that , area. Whenever it’s global, then you should make confident their connections are rock solid ( like multiples regarding redundant OC3 as well as better tied into your backbone ). Around video streaming, latency isn’t your friend. Hosting video channels on anything lower than what is made for it will not only make your consumer look bad, however , you as well.

Backing up Website / Moving hosts
Hi all newbie here at web page design: I plan on migrating several my clients websites to somewhat of a new host and wanted to find out the best way to do it. First I know I would have to backup the data/content from the website but are having trouble how to find the most efficient way to do it. Also I want to to know the procedure of migrating an internet site host. Would I should use a application like dreamweaver to make sure it is operating before uploading to the new host or maybe will it exercise automatically Any other input might help out thanks! All depends on what kind of sites they are generally. Should they are static HTML CODE, then you could just try a FTP program, pull a copy in the old host, push a copy towards new host. Should they are database tempted sites, you’ll should backup the database, find out precisely what version of CMS, setup the brand new CMS, import the db in to the new site, transfer over any customized stuff, etc with all the FTP program. Without knowing specifics, it’s hard to speak about, but those will be the 2 … Continue reading

Why do free website use user membership?
My business is currently building a free website that offers user account deal with. It’s really for practice purposes really, but its almost finished, and are going to be the real offer! Know to the stage! Why does any websites make you join there site if its free of charge in the initial place The only reason i will think of is to keep track of the quantity of members or visitors you’ve had to your webblog, and what region there from. Might be for advertising purposes Any information are going to be very interesting. Enforcefx Truly used it for " commitment".. for only allowing people who are really interested in the content to view the content. Occasionally, you may not would like people just getting, linking, or scraping the content against your site. By causing people register, you know they are likely to confirm using a authentic email address, plus they are interested enough within your content to sign up. Registration may be as simple when just verifying a great email address, or asking the person to fill-out a total big form with information. It’s up to the site manager I guess. You will get basic usage in addition … Continue reading

Noob with a Dilemma
Howdy Everyone I won’t even be in the right place because of this but ya gotta start off somewhere, right We have a word doc which includes a checklist. This checklist is definitely a table that was inserted into the word doc to keep everything in order. Beside each step is often a link to a web page (we will call the web page " Instructions" ) which tells anyone how to do the steps in the checklist. What I’d like to do is niagra: Once the user clicks to the link from concept doc, I would like it to not only take the consumer to the Instructions website (which it does now) but to the start of the paragraph which instructs them how to proceed – so they need not search through that document/web page. If I could possibly somehow find step by step instructions on how in achieving this, I would become really happy. I’ve tried gets and bookmarks but nothing appears to be working for myself. Any suggestions Single point tags is just what you need Here’s a good explanation ( that part about exterior linking ), http: //www. echoecho. com/htmllinks08. htm Ooooh OK – I used … Continue reading
