Anyone know of a good FBML Forum??

Hi there everyone Im looking for any forum that is/caters for people trying to read nore about FBML. This facebook developer discussion board, I find, isn’t great, as most people aren’t interested in answering basic FBML concerns solely for offers like customisations to lover pages – definitely not full apps or even anything more difficult. However if this can be a place everyone who aspires to know goods about FBML goes, please someone explain to me and Cover persevere with in which forum.

The login form, where should it go?

After i create a website, I always place my loginform about the same spot with every page. Extra accurately, I always (or at least, whenever possible) put it about the same spot, where I show user information when the user is logged around. But I also see websites that just have a very separate login page, which seams less accessible to my opinion. But does this make sense to possess a separate login page and a login form somewhere inside page structure MY SPOUSE AND I see facebook working, but to us, it doesn’t actually make sense. what on earth do you guys think That depends on the website and whether or only one form is usually included on the page. ASP. web, for example, doesn’t allow in this directly (there is how to have two or maybe more forms, but it truly is tricky). It really comes right down to " what performs for you". that may be strange. I need ideas of anything about asp, but doesn’t the item just print out html much like php ASP, sure. ASP. net grips things differently. Each form may be known as a control, not a bit of HTML code, and … Continue reading

jab at javascript.

post made this reacting to a gallery question and took the particular opertunity to cling it to javascript(i loathe it so therefore much). but… unfortunately. i don’t have enough machines in order to cross browser check out it. can some of you look in your browsers and inform me if it is garbage. i know the links must be thumbnail but i’ll arrive at that if aging suck. http: //richardkentgates. com/examples/focus. php and a little shot so that you can see what it should seem like. My site requires cookies to be able to remember a visitor’s preferences. If a cereal bar called " bandwidth" isn’t detected the beautiful box appears at every page right up until the cookie is defined. The problem may be that Safari has up to now absolutely refused to line cookies via JavaScript contrary to Opera and Gecko primarily based browsers. Dorky — using Firefox SEVERAL. 6. 9 – looks fine to me. Anything for example I should be in search of i have ff as well. i was trying to find some safari, ie7 or perhaps ie6 checks. thx to get checking it tho.

How you get inspired when designing a website?

Hello. So how you become inspired for your design I want to hear a person’s story. Thank an individual. Weed. (Come in, someone had to travel there! ) Severely, I have a perception of what I’d like to see, and then inevitably when i start drawing this out in Photoshop it issue different, I acquire other ideas, and three to four revisions later Relating to something. The topic on the site is commonly enough inspiration to me – I accomplish some research to uncover about whatever business the site is about, plus usually find that really interesting. My biggest dilemma is knowing when to fix – I usually cram everything with there, and use a lot of graphics on every single page. I try and think outside on the box and keep your principles of design as their intended purpose because designing for web is very about readability and understanding what the topic matter is. In my opinion the more relativity on the subject the more powerful the site is going to be. Technology is usually a different story I usually take ideas in from in the garden sources like associates. If I’m building a website for a great deal … Continue reading
