A bar or table entirely across the top of a web page
What’s the best way to create upon bar that goes ENTIRELY through the top of the actual page, as within the following example http: //www. easyeverything. com The page border properties happen to be set to 0, using CSS. Code: < style type=" text/css" > entire body margin: 0px < /style> Is all that’s necessary. Then all you need to do is create any table and spot your content inside, at the top with the page. It is usually done using a 100% width absolutely positioned DIV. Code: < html> < entire body style=" padding: 0px; border: 0px; " > < desk style=" width: 100%; " > < tr> < td> CONTENT< /td> < /tr> < /table> < /body> < /html> Unclear how well that ‘body’ CSS I put hard work, I typically type out HTML PAGE attributes for margins, as well as the above. the trend is to check how he/she should it view source should you best friend! Karinne, you need to ignore my messages so that you can post lol. That’s twice in a row I posted what you need and the code along with a few hours later you say something within the answer. my spouse … Continue reading

Can I hide a URL (for a particular page)?
We’ve created a dog training site so that the user to help ask aour coach a question by completing an application. Just recently this trainer wanted any fee added for every question submitted. I added a PayPal subscription button to start the submission method. When the PayPal purchase is complete, the form page is viewable. Naturally, the URL for the form page is likewise displayed and any one can navigate immediately to it bypassing this PayPal button. Perhaps there is anyway of covering the URL or limiting admission to the page without dealing with the PayPal purchase The simplest way to start this is to cover the page by way of including it in a very frameset. Have the top frame just 1px higher, and this will likely then mask the URL belonging to the form page you are loading into the bottom frame. EDIT: Example coding. Code: < html> < head> < title> Frameset Page< /title> < /head> < frameset rows=" 1, *" border=" 0" frameborder=" 0" > < mode name=" header" scrolling=" no" noresize target=" main" marginwidth=" 0" marginheight=" 0" > < mode name=" main" marginwidth=" 0" marginheight=" 0" scrolling=" auto" > < /frameset> < /html> You would … Continue reading

I built an online site and I really want my 3 colors to extend beyond the monitor size. I have also been told that my table needs to be at 100% but I still think of a white border all-around my page where the colors end. I dont that it. Thanks ferfer ferfer- If you’re familiar with CSS, try setting margins for any body to 0. That should do just as well. -Mike not mean padding: Absolutely no, margins… Code: body margin: 0; Sean I am brand new in this – so I am not sure easily am talking related to cell padding, although I dot think I am. I will have a shot at the the margin setting. If you want take a peek it is: world wide web. haar-woods. com End up being kind. I must fix alot involving things, this appeared to be my first hit. Well, when I look at it on an everyday computer it is far too big and a lot of scrolling across is necessagy to watch the page. I managed to produce the page smaller sized, but I were going to know if there was anyway I could center the full page so it is available centered no matter what computer or browser can be used to view the item. Additionally, I use a new font that comes on on my laptop, but on some other computers it comes on as Times new roman, and not the font i have used ot style and design the page. Every suggestions Thanks ahead for your aid. What program thinking of using to amalgamated the website With Dreamweaver or Frontpage you can center tables with the alignment property. Balance and technologies
I have a good problem: When building any webpage what a few pointer do to structure a page i know about css as well as about useing tables and have been useing a lot of hybrids. If i were to apply css what sort of positoning: margins, absolutes or others and a few pointer script for browsers that happen to be two old for javascript and css well you know… you should reduce the ‘e’ because after you change use in order to using, you drop the ‘e’…. lol Don’t be afraid to think about other people’s type sheets. WHEN I don’t mean to copy them, but examine their methods, maybe use similar ideas for your own personel site. You are able to view website style sheets by doing like this: 1) One you wish to see, (with Internet Explorer), push " View", mouse because of " Source" and also click. 2) You will observe the HTML code for your webpage. 3) Examine the top collections… for the. css track that gets full. Some sites may have the CSS while in the HTML file, some may have a independent CSS file. 4) Copy this CSS filename in addition to insert … Continue reading
