Lines in Dreamweaver
On the web draw a collection in Dreamweaver without using images from Photoshop or editors that way I cannot find any solution to draw a line that may separate different portions of a webpage… With thanks! It’s the HTML tag called a horizontal guideline… But its often not really a preferred method with dividing a internet page, in modern website development. Usually we put text on the same group into one DIV, and give it a border if required. Yes, WE found the horizontal rule tag, but it doesn’t appear to work continuously. Is it likely to divide that page into 4 parts, like an advantage sign, using hr And what’s a DIV As being a plus sign Convinced. Depends on the best way your design would like to flow, though (entirely preset or liquid as well as whatever). And please do discover HTML and CSS, and you’ll realize how to do that, and that of a DIV is. Reading books and many schools will coach you to use furniture instead. do that, before you’re pulled on the deep hellish rich waters of table-based design. Yes, Need to learn HTML and CSS Upon my sites, this plus sign continually ends … Continue reading

Mailing List Script needed!
Hi there! I am establishing a mailing listing for my mother’s web page. All she should collect are the names and emails from the people. It must have double opt-in functions. Really simple. The easiest way for figuring available which emails are bouncing + removing them will be nice, too. Should be very secure via spam and auto-registrations. WE tried PHPlist, but it’s just an excessive amount for something thus simple. We just have to have to manage one list, not a dozens! Anybody know a nice, hardy, little script Google is the friend. I’ve been googling. I’d like a recommendation from people experienced with setting up mailing lists I know this can be old, but just in case someone performs a search (like I did) : SML (Simple Sending List) seems very good. Doesn’t record brands though, just e mail addresses. http: //notonebit. com/projects/mailinglist/.

possible site update
hello there, Remember to critique my possible next update to help my site — Aesthetic Design Website Development – please bare with me in terms of the loading page, it’s just there since the page relies so heavily on images and i still ought to style it. Code-wise the website is valid xhtml in addition to valid css and in terms of i can inform works fine in FF and IE7 in windows, if you could have any problems with other browsers you need to tell me. Currently I have the homepage, so i’m seeking a critique belonging to the design, rather as opposed to navigational structure, also i’ve definitely not got round to help making rollovers for that navigation yet. Basically as well as is before alpha, its basically merely a rough idea of what I need to make, but what would you think what can i improve on thanks a great deal, Solidgold It is really something different… that’s the best thing. Aging resize gracefully. Look at viewing on a 800 pixel browser. The text inside the content is too small with luck to read. I guess just the thought of breaking out on the normal blah web-sites…. … Continue reading

Copyright Concern From Outsource Firm
Somebody in my friends and family just brought this kind of up…… if I don’t answer this, I might lose members of the family (they have never liked the idea of me doing some sort of startup, but being this stubborn idiot We are I’m sticking together with it), so MY SPOUSE AND I highly appreciate any kind of insightful response. I don’t genuinely have a background in web site design, so how can i ensure any code that whoever delegate firm gives me isn’t copied off elsewhere, and then WE get sued for it They insist WE go learn some web site design before hand…. during the past, I’ve tried however really, I personally know I am going to probably never be a great designer…. as I hate to become to honest ( I really like marketing though) I realize you need to stick to what that you’re good at plus I hate website development and computer encoding, but I find it hard to convince my own family that this is actually the correct thing to try and do. In addition, what could you need to do if your technical partner leaves a person…. what could an individual do … Continue reading
Time for a career change – want to move into web design
Track record info: Ive been residing overseas for 10+ several years in South Korea and recently decided to repatriate 36 months from now. One thing i want to do is get myself a different career every single child generate income when I move back to Canada. For that last 3 a long time Ive really savored hacking away at my sites and helping friends and colleagues start sites or moodle websites. However, despite what my pals think, I am truly a hack who seem to only knows enough to be dangerous. The thing is i enjoy working on web pages and wish to transition into web development full time. Clearly Ill really need to build a stock portfolio of sites. Im willing to put the time into that. More to the point however is developing my set of skills and qualifications. I recently bought CSS Mastery all of which be going through that the minute the book gets there. What I wish to do is have some courses to obtain a focused approach for you to improving my expertise. Ideally these courses can be offered online and be a recognized qualification in the when looking for work (assuming I dont … Continue reading

what to make my site about?!
Hello there, i think here is the right place for being writing this although anyway.. Concerning some webspace along with the and a domain name but the internet site has had " currently under design written on that for about Six months time. I just dont find out what to make that about, originally i got going to produce a tutorial site, with web planning and programming ; however , i realised the quantity of site there are about this. Does anyone have give ideas they wanna talk about with me Or you should make a site about a certain something we coupld use it together, implementing my space Thanks nixon Your site must be something you are looking for. Perhaps a hobby, quite a few political knowledge, quite a few artwork, etc. It becomes best if your web site was something special…. some knowledge you own that you can share with some (and something you possibly can legally share). What exactly is your URL (website address) And finally, you can search Google free of charge CSS layouts for getting you started. Essentially, you’ll use any pre-made CSS format to nail-down most of your layout, including graphics and content material … Continue reading

I am talking about what’s so special about Web 2 . 0. 0 and stuff Why’s the internet today constantly buzzing about Web 2 . 0. 0 In my experience this whole thing appears a major web-wide conspiracy supported by biggest social companies and experts that make use of converting everything (including ones mind) into Web 2 . 0. 0, don’t people guys think so In reality Web 2. 0 is not really helping at all, I’m not even sure that is indeed a future on the Internet. What would you think There are already numerous threads on the particular subject what exactly is Web 2. 0 Web 2 . 0. 0… The Machine is Us/ing Us Tim Berners-Lee on Web 2 . 0. 0: " no person even knows just what exactly it means" Now, there is very little such thing as being a Web 2. 0. How could the online even have your version number, anyway It’s more like an time – like with the Stone Age in order to Bronze Age. This particular changes are simple. The web provides changed, and it has nothing related to the Web COUPLE OF. 0 buzz – it is because new … Continue reading
