Good designers in Boston?
Heya all- we’re a new startup game company in Boston and are needing a good, hip freelancer or perhaps company around here- anything that we’ve found so far is very much very boring and dry. We’re trying to do some expensive, some screenshots, and so on. etc. for an upcoming title. The portfolio work must be really stylish and also impressive. And they have to be in Birkenstock boston or within An hour of the Boston metro area. Just about any recommendations Thanks!

Prices to charge
Concerning had many ages designing websites for myself, friends friends and family and my business but have under no circumstances done it specialist. I have looked throughout the internet to try to look for some standard charges but they vary much. Can anyone convey to me what they’d normally charge to get a site that they will: -Design the actual layout -Create just about all graphics (including logo design creation) -domain name -hosting using a remote server -company electronic mail address -Guestbook -Bullitan board/forum -Install website stats tracking program I am in the beginning stages to try to do this professionally. I have many of the experience I will need technically (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Flash), just none with the administrative and reserve keeping skills. When you charge a washboard fee, for every service Also I would assume for you to have clients sign legal contract and probably recieve a portion of the total quoted bill upfront so you may not get stiffed. Allow me to know what anyone guys think. Be grateful for, Brian I try and bad break up and organize things as much as possible. Most companies would like to know at least aproximately the amount of … Continue reading

Site in progress…
This url is not reside yet but here i will discuss a screen shot. Just about any pointers/comments… These can be my suggestions: – Use something rather than:: for you navigation list style. Produce nice custom impression or something. ASCII stuff just looks novice. Same goes for that separators on the end navigation. — Ditch the validation buttons. If you believe on linking generally there, use text links. Simply put, noone cares. If a client is coming to consider automotive stuff they’re not interested in online standards, nor do they probably really know what it’s all about to start with. – Put some padding into the Recent News package. Rather than that I consider it looks very decent. Cheers for your response, I understand the:: ASCII looks somewhat ghey… they were form of just placeholders untill I could truthfully get something else trend right. I became also thinking regarding ditching the major validation buttons in the process but I do still prefer to make it known i always create valid pages so I do think I’ll inclue either text only or even those slimline kinds. Hadn’t though of padding the modern news bit but now i’m sure about it that … Continue reading
