Starting a villa site
Good, here’s what We have for now. What do you think Splash Key Not quite sure what it’s. Splash page is quite nice, the principal… eh, could do better. It’s a little bit washed out and plain at this time. Yep, which is my problem. The splash page is quite good, but the key looks out of color and as you said washed out. Can you males give me ideas steps to make it more coluorful Site down at this time It can’t be down, maybe there isn’t access to the idea. I guess I am going to attach them here. No concerns, it is being employed again now. I’ll post an overview in 30 moments or so. Pretty good, but you may possibly do with some increased colour within the splash. Using some pleasant quality JPEGs in the surrounding area would clean up the site, and introducing some blues and green vegitables would allow for an assortment of shades and suggestions also. The splash page is pretty nice because you have a nice variety of colours included in the photos and the map and the like, however the main site is very plain, lacks colour and lacks variety. It’s … Continue reading

My organization is looking for ideas for an Italian Theme(romantic, feel Venice) website. Every ideas you would like some links regarding inspiration, or just simply idea Very well, Links would often be AWSOME! But I could truthfully go for the concept too… I include something in our mind, just don’t seem kid deliver it! Asterix comic publications. They’ve got quite a few great Venetian plus Roman art sketches in them. Certain, they’re comic pictures, but they may give you a little inspiration. I always discover it useful to consider pictures relating to your theme I’m endeavoring to capture. Inspiration kinda follows by itself.

Trying to sell services (not an ad)
I work with a local laptop or computer company, and we do web page design. It is not only a huge part involving our business, but I am the one who seem to makes the web-sites, talks directly towards customers etc.. So I have a certain amount of experience as a long way as that is going. Right now, we only help to make sites for nearby businesses etc.. and I am wanting to start off offering services average joe. As to certainly not conflict, it are not any local firms, only through the online world. It will not be a challenge seperating the not one but two. Now I understand I cannot (and would not want to) add some sites I devised for ‘work’ in an affordable portfolio. What I do can do is start my own , personal portfolio, but starting certainly is the trickiest part. I never have sold any web services outside my company.. so my question is usually, Is it okay to just get started churning out layouts to set up a portfolio While it would display a variety of styles etc.. it could not be a true portfolio.. but seems like it would no … Continue reading

Text issues
ALL RIGHT, attached is a picture of my own site design. I currently get my slices lined up as indicated by red boxes (only a sample with the boundaries of your left and cruise sides, there’s much more slices). I wish my text, on the other hand, lined up as indicated by blue boxes inside those slices. Can i go about looking to use tables inside those cells to line up the text properly, or just slice the positioning to the azure boxes and end up receiving a more complex couple of slices and spacer gifs Furthermore, for some reason while i type in a table cell along with use " enter" to try and do a line break, it seems to skip few lines instead connected with one. How must do a usual paragraph format within a cell I’m guessing you might be using something under the lines of Dreamweaver and also Frontpage. In most WYSIWYG editors, it can be just SHIFT + GET INTO. This creates the < BR> (line break). Apologies, yes Dreamweaver MX Occur guys… gimme a few help here, this is EASY, I know it truly is To atart exercising . room within your boxes, … Continue reading

Windows 2000 vs 2003 Servers
Specially I’m interested if like Adobe Content Machine, which is particular by Adobe to work on Windows NT as well as 2000 would work with a Windows 2003 Server. Does any individual know I need ideas of about Content Equipment specifically, but I do know for sure that there are plenty of programs (firewalls for instance BlackIce for example) in which won’t run in Windows 2003 Hosting space, even though they are going to run on Win2K machines. So if aging say, I personally would match the reqs which have been laid out from the software. In various other words, use it on Win2K and you also won’t have a challenge. I’m doing a last ditch hard work by contacting a pal who is an engineer at Adobe. I may just hunt down a Windows 2000 Machine hosting company. Does anyone have any kind of recommendations The ACS requirements SQL Server likewise. I’m tired associated with lame ass web host companies though on any platform. Make use of who I utilize: Sectorlink. They’re a very straight up, professional company to manage. I’ve been with these over 2 years as as a minimum a shared internet hosting customer (dedicated seeing that … Continue reading
Database design – Necessary?
I will be starting up like a freelance web designer (soon I may become a business, but not until I’m no less than 20), but I will be wondering, is database development necessary for people to want one to do jobs with regard to them. I know may well help (and We are learning it), but would it be necessary in the start off Can most sites will need databases, or can people create perfectly beneficial sites without them I simply need someone to shed an amount of light on this kind of subject… aranoid: Its essentially the difference concerning static and makeup sites. I think you can do fine without these people, especially as you begin, but it certainly not hurts to how to use them at some time. Standard business and also personal sites (that you should not sell online) generally won’t ever have the requirement of a database. Models that sell on the web usually will (shopping cart systems etc.. ) CMS (content administration system) based sites are essentially always database influenced. These are websites that someome typically can log into (directly with the browser) and enter information.. either as a blog, or a variable user system … Continue reading

Beginning elements ok?
So guys……… here I go again. We have attached an example. jpg of what We have started on for the new www. thomasinamusic. com. POST haven’t added almost any nav bars, content, or anything like this yet. This is the beginning features. Please tell me what you think, as a kick off point, or any strategies or comments. And to note: I have designed this in a very 800 X SIX HUNDRED canvas in Photoshop. I don’t know if that is correct or certainly not, or if WHEN I should bump it as much as 1024 X 768. Once more, thanks for just about all comments/suggestions. gretsky I truly feel that the colors are drastically wrong. Perhaps a white background 800×600 is definitely prefered, but it’s up to people. But it never hurts to be nice to people in lower resolutions! One particular note though, an individual running in 800×600 cannot naturally see exactly 800×600 for their browser. http: //hotwired. lycos. com/webmonkey/99/41/index3a_page2. htmltw=design That is the useful page this shows the ‘true’ shareable size for websites in various windows in various file sizes. It really is definently a video heavy site. I would go on and try it that has … Continue reading →
