All right, seriously, I hear MAC is best for Web Style and design, but every program I familiar with use on my PC is only for windows… I just now got a apple computer, and I have no idea what programs I am suposted to utilize. Does anyone other than them have MAC that will tell me things to get I helpful to use Notepad in addition to Crimson Editor, and neither FTP Pro or 3D-FTP will continue to work on this technique either. I am gonna have to know Dreamweaver eventually, but I prefer to never use it right this moment, only one major change during a period is all I’ll handle…. I am guessing there have to be some basic courses on here that will do just as well, but I was so un-MAC savvy i always don’t even know where to check…. So if anyone might help I would be most grateful!!!: stressed:
Macs are by no means better for web page design, mainly because the extreme vast majority of web consumers browse on Home windows. Macs are customarily better for screen-print media design due to their more accurate colouring gamuts and famous publishing software.
Need to make sure a lot of professional web design, it would not hurt to receive something like an existing PowerMac G4 or an innovative Mac Mini to find out your pages with Safari. Internet Explorer on Mac is almost certainly dead in MS development (and the item sucked, anyway).
BTW, it can be Mac, not MAC. They are individual things.

I see just what exactly you mean concerning being no better for website development, I was gonna keep my PC laptop in the transition, but now I guess it would be good to hold it around permently to check my pages with….. Throughout South Africa, they arent popular. There are a couple of around, but PC’s support the market share. I wish I could get my hands on the Mac, So I possibly could understand Steve Jobs alittle better!

To get back on the topic of web design and style… Dreamweaver functions effectively exactly the same on OS X precisely as it does on Your windows program. It’s considered the very best WYSIWYG editor.
On the Mac, you can also use BBEdit, which many developers for a range of languages use (I tested out it for PHP for any bit). It is not a WYSIWYG WEB CODING editor, though.
FTP support is constructed into the Finder, women and men last time I tried using it, it was definitely buggy and half the time wouldn’t work whatsoever, even occasionally crashing that Finder. I never did find a good FTP zero cost client for OPERATING SYSTEM X. Dreamweaver provides site-based FTP service, though, I consider.
Dreamweaver to get Mac OS A does indeed included the site-based FILE TRANSFER PROTOCOL tool.
Yeah, I have really not been interested around using dreamweaver & so on, but I were forced to because the lack of notepad & such, it is possibly not too bad, I use the part that appears to be notepad to edit, altho if i switch towards part that seems as if the browser while you are making it next it screws my personal layout up, even tho it works inside browser. Excuse my deficiency of technical terms, that may be how little i understand about that software, lol…. I don’t understand where to begin to discover where the FILE TRANSFER PROTOCOL part is, but my B/F employs dreamweaver, so I might imagine he might point it out and about. thanx for what… I am getting increasingly more used it, especially the element where I log in and mac is ready in seconds instead of having to put it off minutes for house windows to load….
The NotePad equivalent on the Mac is TextEdit. But it doesn’t stop here assume you actually know very well what you’re doing. And so, first thing you do when you wide open TextEdit, go to Format> Make Ordinary Text (or shift-apple-T). Subsequently, when you save, it will automatically append your file with. txt unless you tell it never to.
