I will be creating my own website with no html editors. Concerning the website built also it looks great in IE that’s my default cell phone browser. My page links inside the page works very good and from linking page to page, ie going with the home page to help page one, web site two and web site three in IE. However next time i open it up in NS the links in the same page as well as links to open other three pages won’t work. Could this often be because NS is not really my current default visitor I rather fresh at this so I hope I have created myself clear. I have looked at and rechecked in addition to all links is very much set up so. My links to help other websites works fine in NS. Thanks for almost any help.
Your default browser will not cause an error like that, it’s just an additional example of the best way IE and Netscape render pages differently. With out seeing the computer code, I’d guess that there is an error in your own syntax, because IE is quite forgiving in terms of HTML mistakes, along with browsers aren’t. If you give us a chek out your site, we will help you more.
Splufdaddy! Thanks for that reply. I would not have my website placed yet. I am getting it to work in both, IE and NS, before posting around the www. I have my page connection, to go in the bottom of the page for the top of the page like that: At the top with the page just under our bodies tag I own; < a name=" top" > < /a>. At the end of the page Concerning;
< h4 align=" center" > < your href=" #top" > Returning to the top< /a> < /h4>. To search from the webpage to page two We have this;
< your href=" Page#2. html" > Page& nbsp; two< /a>. I squeeze & nbsp; between Page and two to create a space. I used the identical syntax for most four pages in order to my website. Like I reported it works good in IE that’s my default browser but they will not work with NS. I thought maybe it would not perform in NS because NS is not really my current default internet browser. I will await your reply on this. Hopefully I is certain to get this straightened out and get my pages around the www. Thanks once more.
The # inside the filename is probably throwing things off. I just manufactured a file which has a # sign inside and tried to link to it, and Mozilla didn’t find it. Next time i clicked directly to the file, it transformed the Page#2. web coding to Page%232. web coding. IE doesn’t do this. Try renaming your own files, and correcting your links accordingly.
There is not any harm in putting your site up before it really is 100%, no one will see it except those that are working about this problem with everyone. It definately has nothing related to which browser can be your default browser, thus if renaming the actual files doensn’t perform, put your website up or fix the html right here and we’ll look over.
splufdaddy! You had been right on your assumption around the # sign. That was the culprit that’s been giving me issues all along. After some experimenting I got every one of the links to work when they should work. I’d have never decided it out if it hadn’t been for your own help. I want to thank you for that help you’ve given. It certainly offers saved me many work and plenty of flustration. Thanks again and get a great daytime.
Wayne.
