Fast-forward to help university (1996-1997). I took some sort of computer programming course and got to learn on an even more practical language… Assume Pascal. Think Pascal, for instance Turing, has no practical application whatsoever. It was one of several reasons I dropped from university in our second term.
Then I going messing around with webpages as a hobby for 2 years and an existing boss of mine found out about it. He turned my first buyer, and his certain website required a few rather unusual lisenced users. So I started off learning ASP, and it sort of shot to popularity from there.

Im halfway through College for Computer Knowledge, which is geared at more regular programming.
