Update: FIXED!!!
Seek out google for " steven moseley" – my homepage could be the first result (www. stevenmoseley. com)
In case you go directly to help www. stevenmoseley. com, nothing at all happens, but in case you click the url from Google, it requires you to a few anti-virus spam corporation.
Anyone understand how this happened or perhaps if there’s a new patch out to repair it
With thanks!
Holy Sh-nick!
How did they are doing that
The item happens in Yahoo too.
And yes it totally locks in place FF… can’t get free from it!
===========
We need to discover about this!
UPDATE:
Did you check ones. htaccess file
Steven…
WE found this:
http: //bryanjamesstephens. com/inter… notification-from-google-for-a-wordpress-blog
Not sure if that belongs or not.
.
WE figured it available…. they’re only redirecting when your referrer is really a search engine.
Los angeles injury attorney they’re doing this is to prevent bots from realizing which they hacked the web page, because then the website would be dropped from search results listings.
DEVIOUS!!!
I’m likely to fix it these days.
Where has been the change made… in. htaccess
describe it, and mostly,
just how do they hijack this browser like that
I had to ctr/alt/del to kill accomplishing this.
UPDATE:
PM me if this stuff should not end up being public on WDF.
But by knowing this kind of, it helps us deal with hackers.
Apologies, man, I don’t even research this. I simply erased (rm -rf *) and uploaded the newest version.
My assumption is always that the hack was produced via a rewrite on the template (when MY SPOUSE AND I tried to delete because stevenmoseley. com end user, I was denied entry to those files, this means they were probably altered by " nobody" account).
The likely manner they accomplished the hack would be that the php checks the particular $_SERVER" HTTP_REFFER" and redirect if that contains " yahoo and google. com" or " digg. com", etc. That way, spiders wouldn’t often be redirected (because they have no referrer), and that would also make clear why direct linking doesn’t bring you redirected.
Did the thing is where it has been being directed
How they locked-up this browser like that
Once it opens inside browser (IE or perhaps FF), it can’t be
halted, minimized,…. nothin.
It seems as if Javascripting, but not sure.
The javascript is definitely simple. It gets the type and model of your tv screen and resizes the particular browser. That has been on their internet site, though, not around mine. My internet site just redirected.
Steven…
An individual mentioned this… " simply deleted (rm -rf *)"
what the heck is rm -rf*
What did everyone delete and have to reload
I’m asking because I am just nervous about my WP sites.
With thanks,
greatest extent
In Linux:
/path/to/mywebdirectory> rm -rf *
That removes most files recursively on the directory you’re within. Never run that on the root!!!!
In actual fact, it’s better in order to call it clearly:
/path/to/mywebdirectory> rm -rf /path/to/mywebdirectory/*
And if at all possible, don’t run the item as root. There’s a tale in existence of what happened to someone on a well used machine who accidentally rm -Rfed… Anything. On the community server.
