Flash MX Newbie.

Hi all, I could’nt get a forum specifically targeted for newbies so I thought this will be the best place to place. The provider I work for have recently placed me responsible of the website that has been developed in Flash by the contractor. Already we call for changes and although I have some website practical knowledge, Flash is proving for being somewhat difficult. For example you page has an index of several staff members, and I will have to add a brand-new member. I have got opened the. fla file and clicked for the ‘cell’ on the particular timeline that displays the all the list staff. I tried to copy a final text but croping and editing it actually edited the actual source. I have examined the properties in this control and it is a button, but once i add another button into the scene it appearance completly different (more as being a button rather and then text) I’m guessing that this ‘button’ is actually text considering the characteristics of the button. I have clicked the particular edit symbols button for the right of your scene 1 bar but it lists both Name1_txt along with name_btn. I’m obtaining this … Continue reading →

discussion about Flash, web design AND the mobile phone industry

Exactly where do we easily fit into this industry Or is it primarily some people will went to school to find out C++ etc . Most mobile handsets today have snazzy interfaces and get animation with movements graphics involved but is very just programmed animation beyond Flash/Actionscript I am in a period of career researching.. my minor degree shall be in marketing, but I’d like to focus on a career path that goes above (yet is related) to the type of work I can now: Flash design, HTML web pages, and CSS coming up with. So, I’m thinking about the mobile style industry, which to my knowledge has established applications and games for mobiles. Getting an animation into my website.

Hello there, I am new to the present stuff. I designed an animation in adobe flash, and I will be trying to with success put it on my website (with this system dreamweaver), but next time i import the display, the internet preview just shows a ignore white rectangle. I do not know what I am doing wrong. Almost any ideas Thanks. Export it away from Flash then consider the swf record in DW, drag and shift that where you need it. Thanks that worked! The matter now is in internet explorer preview, that includes the bright backround as our animation. Is there any way We can get the object itself around the page Seeing IE locally can block active subject material. You are with a swf file so I’m unsure why it would do this. Allow active written content in IE, usually a bar along at the top of this page.
