pictures garbled when uploaded!!
Hello, I’m new for this forum, and why I came the following is because I have a very big problem with the website I’m developing. I thought someone of there’s a chance you’re able to respond to this question. After i upload the pages (which looks fantastic in dreamweaver) to help my server this images become fully garbled. It is quite frustrating. I don’t know why this occurs. Here’s one among a page where by this has happend on the header. You can only see the superior of it. In dreamweaver all is fine along with the header is regarding 10 times more than it is now. It seems like this only tends to happen to. gif documents. Does anyone use a clue why this happends Could be very grateful for a response. Thanks Jakob I forgot to substance the link, here it’s: online world. myautoresponderpro. com/auto-loans. htm Jakob Be sure that you’re uploading that images in binary method, not ASCII (or text) style. Thanks for the answer. Sure that’s what We have done, but it still does not work properly. Site in progress…
This url is not reside yet but here i will discuss a screen shot. Just about any pointers/comments… These can be my suggestions: – Use something rather than:: for you navigation list style. Produce nice custom impression or something. ASCII stuff just looks novice. Same goes for that separators on the end navigation. — Ditch the validation buttons. If you believe on linking generally there, use text links. Simply put, noone cares. If a client is coming to consider automotive stuff they’re not interested in online standards, nor do they probably really know what it’s all about to start with. – Put some padding into the Recent News package. Rather than that I consider it looks very decent. Cheers for your response, I understand the:: ASCII looks somewhat ghey… they were form of just placeholders untill I could truthfully get something else trend right. I became also thinking regarding ditching the major validation buttons in the process but I do still prefer to make it known i always create valid pages so I do think I’ll inclue either text only or even those slimline kinds. Hadn’t though of padding the modern news bit but now i’m sure about it that … Continue reading

Quick question about FTP
issues I never seriously knew, just seeking some basic facts, i searched although didnt’ really find what I got looking for… what exactly is ASC II option for using a ftp client a faster way to upload text files what exactly is Binary option for using a ftp client more rapidly way for many files and might someone explain passive mode for me also any other bits of info about FTP, that is likely to be useful to myself, please state the idea too.. just learning about a thing i never seriously questioned Passive vs Energetic mode has related to " listening" using a second port. Sometimes it can get filtered away by network firewalls and also stuff, so they came across the other function. I don’t remember that’s which, but this explained it in my experience back when MY PARTNER AND I cared: http: //www. slacksite. com/other/ftp. html I’m sure ASCII is for text files and the rest is sent because Binary (e. gary. images). I dont’ think there exists a speed advantage… Google it if you can’t know, or wiki: Wikipedia: FTP http: //en. wikipedia. org/wiki/File_Transfer_Protocol.

Any body may also help me to set up php breadcrumbs i understand only includes idea of php Breadcrumbs are usually generated within a comprehensive PHP script that generates all your page. Such because this Vbulletin community page. If you have no idea enough PHP to begin this, then I suggest you forget about using PHP breadcrumbs. Instead just personally hard-code individualized navigation links for each page, to appear to be breadcrumbs or however you desire them to appearance. Or maybe use PHP comprises of. On each levels or directory of one’s site, post any " breadcrumb. inc" incorporate file. This shows the links for any current level along with all higher amounts, just like breadcrumbs. Then in the top of each page (or wherever you desire your breadcrumbs to be able to show) post something like this: HTML: < php include(" breadcrumb. inc" ); > > > Bill of current page. OR HTML: < php include("… /breadcrumb. inc" ); > > > Bill of current page. The difference depends upon how you organize your site. I. e., you can either post breadcrumbs for any current directory to the current directory–or 1 level above (.. /). P. AZINES. Do not … Continue reading
