newb Q: images split up into tables
the key reason why do some pages have images/banners which have been divided up directly into tables what are advantages does the particular page load quciker and just how do i recreate that in dreamweaver im betting that its to do with the split device in photoshop basically i dont understand what they are, what they’re for and how to make ’em thanks in advance phil Several years ago, if you split images along the major lines involving color division, you could reduce file size significantly. Also, by means of splitting the photograph into multiple items, it could end up being assembled one piece at a time so that psychologically, the page doesn’t take so long to load. Those rules don’t apply the maximum amount today, because obtain speeds are considerably faster. If you could do it, though, make sure you specify a for your so that page doesn’t perform the " stretch and squeeze" consequence when loading. While using the slice tool throughout photoshop. Why people love doing this, are mainly the belief that you can create any design possible, this looks great, as opposed to having to pattern in boring platforms. When you slice up the particular image, … Continue reading

My buttons show up that i do. below is an image of the email: The actual coding contains a few images total this background highlighted in purple and two buttons highlighted around white. For that background I here’s using: < family table width=" 800px" height=" 600px" style=" margin-left: 50px; margin-right: 25px; margin-bottom: 75px; margin-top: 75px; track record: url(/files/images/backgroundnotext800x600. jpg); border=" cellpadding=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" > For that buttons I here’s using: < your href=" http: //www. rlmcastings. com/" > < img border=" 0" width=" 82" height=" 18" alt=" Website" title=" Go to Website" src=" /files/images/websitebutton. jpg" /> < /a> If anyone can give me an plan why my background image just isn’t showing up I might appreciate it thanks. How big is to big for a back ground image?
I used to be just wondering exactly what everyone though about sizes for foundation images. What is a good size for them and what exactly is to big Relating to all ways heard that as long at they are usually under a meg then they work effectively but I realize that a meg can be to big. With regard to download size… under 40k if it is going to be an integral part of your design (e. gary the gadget guy. a frame or border on your site). But in the event that it’s just the ambient background image, I would visit as big since 200k. A megabites is ridiculous. Aim to have the most basic background image likely.. if its up and down repeated eg get 800×1, if its orizontail tumble 1×100 and also try to use transarency and also table colors in making them smaller ANY background image should not even be near 1Mb. The background picture should be no more than you can ensure it is. You can start using a gif format together with indexed colors that will control the size from the image. PNGs tend to do better when compared with GIFs for great BG … Continue reading

Photoshop to css HELP
I had been slicing photoshop plus putting it within tables until I found that was incorrect. Then I found out about using css and also the examples I here’s finding don’t specifically fit to my internet site, so Im wanting to ask question that will help me understand it. I’m not always helpful to picking it ” up ” how others express it. If that adds up. any way I’d like to see to slice up website and position the idea with css as an alternative to tables. I created a bit example to demonstrate where I feel having problems. If anyone could possibly help me position or check out my code as well as show me where by I’m going wrong I would appreciate it. I don’t prefer to repeat any pictures or use color for any back ground. I’d like to see to use just about all images. I know you require headings, so I think I want to help hide the wording. recommendations my example Perspective attachment 4691 here i will discuss my slices Perspective attachment 4693 Perspective attachment 4692 Perspective attachment 4694 Perspective attachment 4695 So my css code could be this system text-align: heart; perimeter: … Continue reading
